Your colour scheme reminds me of a mixture between Waldo and his arch nemesis Odlaw :P

So here's a quick shot of the trans tunnel. my camera died so I only got one pic. It was really clean under the heat shielding so cleaning it wasn't that hard. I POR15'd the few spots of bare metal and then coated it with gravel guard. VERY happy with how it turned out. It will keep my car rust/corrosion free for many more years.

I'm doing it in stages... so I only have the transmission tunnel done thus far. I need to clean a few more spots before coating the res.

I'm going to re-do the line where it turns to red. Didn't quite like how that turned out...

I mod has been PM'd. You are a jerck in every thread. If you need the internet to make you feel like a big guy then I feel sorry for you.

I started by asking politely if you could keep out of my thread. You chose not to so I have contacted someone about your behavior.

Cool thread, except for the people filling it with unrelated crap ^^

My brothers RX7 motor is dead too .... go figure a rotory not working LOL
ahhh I joke, thats just a part of the rotory love. Its good to see you doing the whole nine yards while the engine / tranny is out, it will look nice for years to come

Did you get new housings ? find any good places to get them from ? we got to start looking for a set

I'm cleaning this up. Rapier, I'm not sure if another mod has spoken to you yet but this is your one and final warning before getting a time out. No need to be a jerk.

I bought a pre-built engine. Rebuilt with used parts, however I got really lucky because he had some really low KM housings in his stock. It's as close to a new engine I'll get.

So the pre built engine died? or your getting a new pre built engine to go back in?

I think my brother is going to get Greg at Staffs to build him a sick motor, have you ever delt with him? he is very experienced with the wankel and probably the best RX7 guy in Canada

I want an RX7, but i don't want to have to rebuild it.

And if I buy one, wether I buy it and rebuilt it, or buy it, reck it, then rebuild it. It still has to be rebuilt.

I just love the body styling on them. Its little crammed for me to get in one, but once I'm in its nice

For the most part a rebuild is always in the future for a RX7, once you buy one, just start buying parts for a new motor so every thing is ready to go when the original blows. Thats not really a bad thing, since most preformance guys end up rebuilding their motors (all motors not just rotarys) anyways. Plus a properly built rotary with upgraded modern parts will be pretty reliable and will last while if you take care of it..... plus they are just a gorgeous sexy car that handle wicked

...****, I might have to get another one, I miss them now

                            Looking good.

Where do you get this gravel guard? I think it will be a good winter project for my HCR also.

I bought a low KM used engine. The engine was fine, but I hadn't gotten it tuned yet. I was running low boost (<7psi) on the PFC and one day I spiked and the engine blew.

I bought a new short block built by a rotary specialty shop.

Staffs is good, but in all honesty too expensive. I would recommend the guy I used. Everyone on rx7club.com has nothing but great things to say about him.

Crappy tire. Just make sure you get "rubberized undercoat" not the "asphalt undercoat"...

you need to clean it with some simple green and a bristle brush. Then rinse... let it dry, mask off and spray. the can is really good... very easy to spray where you want it to. nice narrow spray pattern.
