Man I hate rotaries

rotaries are cool, I went to college with a guy who was obsessed with them.

I personally would own an FD if I had enough money, but I don't lol

i know they dont just drop in! The rotaries are half the size of a rb and alot less to them as far as wiring etc but many people have done rb swaps into them and it's an awesome combo for those who cant stand the rotary but love the look of the car

Think about it: for every turn of the crank you got 3 explosions in a rb26 (cause half the pistons are on the exhaust stroke and half on the power stroke) where in a quad rotor you got 4 rotors times 3 sides = 12 explosions ! Mucho power.

That also explains why they're a bitch on gas.

An explosion if just a quick release of energy...whether ignition is made by a spark plug or by heat, it is still an explosion. Stop playing with words.

Actually, it's power by elves that drop little sticks of dynamite down the spark plugs. Knocking/detonation is caused when the little elves drop the dynamite sticks at the wrong time.

Owning a rotary, they are not as reliable as the piston engine and do not seem to be as economical, but do sound amazing at the higher RPM's.
