I was really surprised to see that but Montreal deserved it. Amazing defense shutting down arguably the most powerful offense in the playoffs. Lets hope now that they have eliminated the Cap's they can wave bye bye to Crosby and Malkin!

I have decided that I am not going to shave until Vancouver gets eliminated/wins. Why? I don't care about hockey. I'm just lazy and want to have an excuse not to shave!

i think the pens are gonna give montreal a very difficult time... washington is a 1trick pony of a team... where as the pens have alot of depth... the reason why they didnt do stellar during the season was due to injuries, surgeries and sickness... but now with the team back at 100% they are the biggest threat on ice... i dont think halak is gonna be able to keep this hottness going

Agreed, also pens are more solid then capitals, because its not only crosby even tho his playing great but also malkin which i think can fire it up...im all for canucks but if it doesnt work lets go pens

I called it. **** what an exciting game though! No one can deny they deserved that win, with what 49 blocked shots, Habs with 42 saves and only 16 shots on goal.

And sorry but 1/32 on the PP? Caps dropped the ball in that series.

Chicago is great team and murdered Nashville in the last series. I, as much as any other BC native would love to see Vancouver take the second round. The odds are heavily stacked in Chicago's favour, however. If the Canucks somehow manage to win the second round, I will eat my own hair. And enjoy it.

please please dont lump me in with the rest of you... born and raised a BC'er i cant stand the canucks... i do however dislike chicago more than vancouver so i will root for the canucks only because they are a canadian team...

I think it will be a close serie, but im predicting canucks will take it to game 6 and win....yeah i know last year chicago won blah blah blah, but this year canucks are stronger, better and some players can really fire it up so it will be a good series to watch.

Yeah, the Canucks seem confident and have built up some momentum. Chicago is still a very good team though, and they placed higher than the Nucks in the regular season. Also, during the regular season, they usually beat Vancouver. If I was a betting man, I`d put money on Chicago, but I`d love to see Vancouver win this series.
