I'll try your shotgun offer maybe later in the summer. How was it? Do you have any footage?

7th of July? Possible. However I'd suggest mixing something with the Nationals.
The track is an absolute blast! The car performs SO well.
Other cars in attendance for lapping were a supercharged M-Coupe, a tuned WRX, 2 tuned FD3s and an Acura TL. The weather had been threatening all weekend so the turnout wasn't great. We expect a much better turnout Friday.

We could do something with the nationals, but then people have to commit to the weekend and having to be board at a car show full of muscle cars that most of us don't like. Plus I think most the fun would come from the skycruise we should go on, for those of us that don't just park our skylines that is-Pat B R33 GTR-

I don't know if I would speak for others about not liking muscle cars. Most "car guys" can appreciate anything nice.
In addition there is MUCH more there then just muscle cars at the Nats. The Z club is there, tuners, and anything else on four wheels.
Also you can come and go almost as you please... best/safest parking in Moncton!
A "Skycruise" would be a good idea. We would have to just decide on a location, have someone at said location put together a route and settle on a date. Pretty easy!
How many of us do you suppose just "park" our Skylines??? Two years ago you had your car "parked" in the Moncton Coliseum for 3 days.
How many times has your car seen a track?Last edited by bobbo; 06-28-2011, 06:30 PM.

I agree 100%, I can appreciate anything nice but I would tend to think most people on this skyline forum would rather goto say sport compact nights then the atlantic nationals given a choice. I know there is other stuff at the nationals but I can't help but feel a bit unwelcomed there. However regardless even with that being said, I would still meet up at the nationals if some other guys also wanted to. I didn't think you could come and go that freely.-Pat B R33 GTR-

It gets a bit much. I had a great time last year as my father really likes me to go with him to shows. He gets a big kick out of it. I was treated VERY well by the Z Club and invited to go on their cruise. I even won a prize!
Also I think Moncton would be a good place to meet as they have the strongest base for auto enthusiats in the Maritimes and it's quite central. I can't speak for how good the roads are.
Halifax and surrounding area has a very good car base but like most places the import scene is a little weak. We do have some excellent drives but we're not very central. If people wanted to do a meet here I'd be happy to try to put something together if I can fit it in with my work schedule.Last edited by bobbo; 06-28-2011, 06:35 PM.
