well, since R33's are so heavy, I'd guess between $1500 and $2500Black 1991 GTR. Serious garage stand mantle/parts car.

Don't ever confuse cost and value. The ViPEC is a tremendous value proposition. (You get MORE than you pay for.)
If the cost of the ECU is a barrier, you should run the car in OEM trim for a while before you start modding. If you put even $5-$7k in parts into an engine plus your effort or someone else's labour and then blow it up because you cheaped out on the ECU, you'll feel sad.
The refernce to the R33 being heavy was a dig. The ECU doesn't care how much a car weighs.

Your probably going to be looking at around 1750 ish + tax. The price has recently gone up. Thats ecu+IAT sensor and the onboard 1.5bar map.
Lightspeed sent me a PM when I made that post and they said 2750 for install/tune etc
For exact pricing just call lightspeed.

I bought mine used from Farmer as a complete kit but it was missing the cover, manuals/instructions and no AIT... You're better off buying new and not dealing with people that don't reply your messages.
On another note, the 2.5 bar sensor is -1 to 1.5 bar so, like me, if you want more than 500whp, you need more than 1.5 bar most likely therefor a new sensor I think...Black 1991 GTR. Serious garage stand mantle/parts car.
