It is kinda a pain actually. I made custom adapters, EVO 8 rotors, custom brake lines. Probably took about 6 hours of work to mount the callipers. I would assume looking at the Sti brakes that they are similar for the fronts.

Its basically a piece of steel 1" X .5" X 6". Drilled and tapped to fit the stock hub.

Rear EVO callipers will NOT fit. I don't even think you could make a bracket to adapt.

I ended up keeping stock rear brakes with the EVO 8 rotor.

yea from my research i still think the easiest way is sti calipers all around with evo rotors and sti ss lines.

GTR203, can you possibly describe if it was direct bolt on or what modifications you had to do to make them work? Front? Rear?
Also, whats size are those Enkei - 18"?

Which links you follow with conversion!? Post them up!

Yea no prob! A buddy had the kit on a s13 and I grabbed it for a great price, all I needed to do was grind very little out of the middle of the adapter ( it slightly rubbed the knuckle because it was made for an s13) you need to cut and grind off the mount on the knuckle that holds the factory brake line, and for lines I ended up using aftermarket 240sx braided lines because they are banjo style like the brembos and they fit perfectly. Here's the link to the lines I used they are local to me so I just ran up there and grabbed them. http://www.240sxmotoring.com/24frbrlifor2.html

So all in all Evo 9 calipers, Evo 9 rotors, Evo 9 pads, any s13 brembo adapters, some grinding and the lines and your golden! I apologize I didn't take pics of the process I only did the fronts but what I hear is the sti rear is bolt on. My front wheels are 18x9.5 et 15 with a 5mm spacer so et10 I had plenty of room

And that, my friends, is what modern/old school hot rodding is all about. Cannibalizing other cars to make yours better started as soon as there was more than 2 car manufacturers. Nicely done...I may have changed my mind yet again and might go this route, relatively cheap and easy.

I ended up very well on the brake setup they were blue so I refinished them in gold with the decals got the complete setup with 99 percent new hawk pads fresh rotors and adapters for 350! Lines were 60 figure 20 in paint ( I had half of the stuff already) so 430 total then turn around and sold my gtr setup to a s13 owner for 325! ( not so common down here in the us) so all said and done 105 for everything, just ended up getting lucky with the deal that I did. Another plus is that I no longer need jdm only gtr rotors mine had seen better days now just any Evo rotor and no long waits!

Does there look like there is room for 17" wheels, or am I going to spend some dough on a new set of wheels too?

You could spend 1.3K+ on front caliper set, or get mounting kit and rotors for Track Z33 324mm rotors for less than 350bux.

                          fits like this on 17"
