Rb26 Transmission rebuild kit???

Bumping thread back up, read it all, no confirmed answer. Did the op rebuild work out good with 300zx internals? Is the 300zx tt 3rd gear stronger than the rb?

Blew up my third and i want to rebuild with a stronger third gear. Any suggestions other than os giken?

OP just like few others, rebuild only grinding transmissions, so they replaced only SYNCHROS, and not gears, but if you are going so far inside i donts see any trouble replacing gears!
Also im not sure if you can only replace one gear, they have to be in pairs, and min ammount is 1-3 for OS!

Hey guys, I stripped my 3rd gears off completely while drag racing. Where can i purchase the replacement shaft and the 3rd gear from the other shaft?

Much more economical to buy a used transmission. You can also buy a transmission new minus the transfer case:

Buying a used tranny is not an option for me right now. The shipping and duties on that would be crazy. I would appreciate if someone could just tell me where I can buy the 3rd gear and shaft.
