500whp sounds very ambitious. I'd expect at least 450whp with those turbo's. But yes! It will be dyno'd as it's tuned so you'll see the results in the next few months, and yes. I will be bragging about them..

I'm thinking about getting one of the following vanity plates:
        2860R-5
        GT2860

Just something subtle cops wouldn't understand but other car enthusiasts would!

Second thought, it's probably not a good idea to advertise what's inside my car.
            500WHP still advertises that lol!

Maybe something else lol. 2600CC :P.

What are you doing for fuel/ECU?. Are you using the stock manifolds or are you upgrading? Standard valve springs on the NUR engine or upgrades?

Yeah that fan thing sucks, you can get 2 in there, but the engine needs room to torque and if you have them in there one will get torqued right into your rad. Those rads are insanely fragile, I almost blew mine on day one by reinstalling my clutch fan, which was way too close since the rad is twice as thick. When I revved high and the engine torqued it hit the rad but didnt go all the way through.

Anyways, great thread, looking forward to seeing how it all goes together. Keep feeding us the updates and pics!

Oh yeah, and I dont have a brother named Will. you must be thinking of someone else!
Ive been running the manual controller that the SAU guys rave about. absolutly NO creep and the turbo spools faster than normal because no air is prematurely getting to the wastegate. been running 1 bar for a month or so and have had no problems at all. best $30 i've spent on my car so far.

Good to know! What kind of boost gauge are you running?

I still think the NUR motors are very overpriced for what you get, which is still a motor with cast pistons. Looks nice otherwise.

Yes we bagged all those bolts last night. So far when I left he was still working on getting the transmission out. I managed to use my small arms to get the top oil cooler line off. I also managed to recover one of many wrenches his GTR ate.

Oh hey Andrew, when you read this. Dont forget to remove that jar thingy that was stuck between the a/c rad and some pluming. I was gonna work on getting that one out but got distracted by the oil filter wrench that was stuck between the motor and the frame.

lmfao don't worry I'll get that out when the bumper comes off...Ryan, thank you for all your help btw, I really appreciate it!!!

To answer everyones questions. I'm ordering almost everything through Adam at Feast. For fuel I'm having Ztune.ca tune the ECU on a mustang dyno until it's perfect

Also I don't think the NUR is over priced for what you're getting. You're getting a race proven engine that was built to replace the STD engine for racing events. It has a fully balanced crank, and higher quality pistons. By the way, an engine is only as good as the tune. My friend blew his fully built 99 eclipse engine with forged internals/rods etc. He melted all four pistons.

I'm going to be running the stock nur top end aside from new tomei pon cams . Should be intense.

BTW: Can anyone come help get the half shafts off? I have NO IDEA how to do it. Please let me know if you're available to come over either Sunday or Monday next week (mar 2nd/3rd) Adam (langley) said him and his dad might come out but I'm not sure if they will or not, engine is ready to come out aside from that. Thanks guys!!!!

Update: Removed drive shafts, tranny bolts, starter, put condom on attessa pump line.
And yes, I have been bagging all the bolts together. Labeling only some of them, most of them are pretty obvious where they go.

Ordered ARP Headbolt kit and Arp nuts
                                Yay!!
