Was going to put it in, but couldn't due to lack of 3 heater hoses that need to be molded. On order from FEAST express...Honestly I can't wait any longer lol. There is absolutely nothing else to do but pop this guy in the engine bay now.

Engine hoist looking disappointed as it didnt' get a chance to catch any engines today =[.

Good reason for moving to forged interals :drive:Originally posted by RyanGTS-T View PostI just have a bad feeling that you forgot something or screwed something up since you dont build engines for a living and well this would be your first engine build.
No seriously if it blows up I sell everything and buy a civic.

I've built a motor before from stage 1, so this was just changing some rod studs and a headgasket, no biggy.. though the rod studs I'll admit were the biggets pain in the balls, but I'll sleep easier knowing they won't stretch anymore =\.Originally posted by mwracing View Postwhen Anddrew called me up, and asked for some specific details on hosing locations etc... it sounded like he knew what he was doing from step one.
good luck on the build, ill swing by this week for an alcoholic beverage.
Only really concered about a few things, but I'm still not experienced on building motors, so taht nasty feeling like I forgot something is likely normal as I Double checked everything before moving onto the next step. I have a deep routed feer

I'd be nervous too...lol!! from going through this, it looks like there's a good lump of cashola...How good are the warranties? :P I'm sure you've gone through everything many times before finishing as this is such a big project - so everything is probably more than perfect

Warrenties? :P I'm pretty sure I've voided all of them. Though the tuning and djetro install is probably warrentied by ztune because they are sweet...Originally posted by Chris_RB View PostThe end of the month isn't too far away!

End of the month can't come soon enough, and I'm sure that sick feeling will grow until I pass 5000km and then it will go away.

Update: Motor is on the engine mounts right now. Clutch was so big it caused some issues getting it over some stuff :P.
Called it a night as we ran out of day light. Will resume tomorrow at 5PM
Hose catastrophy was avoided using a 90* 1" brass barbed fitting courtesy of my buddies plumbing van lol
.
Looks interesting having a motor in there again!
