Peter awesome film. I saw that you also made ski movies. I used to do same with my Canon XL1. Anyways, I will need you at the track next year. Let me know if you want to come. I sent you a request for facebook. Nice work. Marc. My Corolla, shes an SR86
That was an awesome teaser!!!! I wish I was in your area, it would be sweet to see my baby in the film. Once again, that film gave me a serious chubby. I want the full version, then I could watch it while my wife does stuff.jk. But seriously, that film gave me a chub. Nice build man, you should get that vac hose outta the way. I know it's a pain, ( had to do it this summer) but I gotta agree with frankiman that it is pretty getto. Good work bro, love to see a solid GTR tearing it up!!!
I contacted this guy after seeing your blue LED dash conversion on facebook. Post on his thread and he will pm you with an email addy, and you can get talking as it takes 10 posts for you to pm ppl on SAU. I ordered an entire set:
- dash

- lights under mirror
Basically a led replacement for everything INSIDE the car for $60 shipped. Thats boss!
1991 Silver Skyline R32 GT-R - SOLD You will be sorely missed girl :'(
Well sorry its been so long since the last update... i tend to do a lot more driving of the GTR then working on it in summer.. but i do have a little bit of an update for you all... I'll start with this:
@DJ - hahah thanks! yea that shot was pretty epic, it was filmed from my trunk of my car, i was trying to keep him always in the shot! look behind me and bam.. wheel flies off lol
@monkeymark - thanks bud but all the camera work is my buddy pete! ill pass along the msg tho!
@mushashi13 - great day man, so much fun thanks for comming out!
@Gordskin - thanks very much! yea ill be movin hat hose very sooon!
@franki + a4nark1 - yep i got the whole kit all at the same time from the australian guy.. hes very easy to deal with. none of the lights have burned out yet.
@bellis - right nao!
So... what have we been up to? well ive being using photo shop to help me find a color scheme for my engine bay... i found it! but you'll all have to wait to see what it is...im not gonna lie its gonna be pretty outlandish... i scoured 12 skyline related forums and only found one other skyline that did something similar... so it`ll be quite rare too.
on the list for winter will be:
- remove oem boost sensor from firewall + plug vacuum line.
- remove oem boost solenoid and plug vacuum lines
- remove all un-necessary vacuum lines and plug them at the source.
- powder coat for various engine bay parts
- purchase: ~700 cc injectors + blitz SBCr boost controller + denso fuel pump + dyno tune in spring
as for recently... well last friday a bunch of us in montreal held a meet... about 200 JDM cars strong. needless to say we went.. and we filmed some pretty cool stuff.. now i won't post anything thats gonna give away too much so as to ruin the movie but i will post some more teaser shots and photos:
this is the S14.5 USDM conversion with built RB26... owned by the owner of Automotion shop here in MTL
heres a supra that was pretty wild again USDM for some reason lol:
and i'll just leave this here... its a short video of the tunnel.... the crazy stuff went down just as the video ended, but it`ll give you a feel for the massiveness of all this.
also... sooo sorry about all the annoying horns LOL
That is a HUGE turbo.. Can't believe i missed this.. All for 30 degree Cabo weather and food poisoning :P .. ahhh fml.. Sooo, shoot next week?
I'm gonna install my oil cooler this thursday i hope.. add the last finishing touches to my Winter/summer build before tackling my new turbo and engine/foot work for the winter.. We'll probably do it at tylers place since he has a lift, should pass by!
Check out the GTST Projects page and keep up to date with my build!

@nelson - hahaha don't kick yourself too hard it wasn't THAT great... lol it was pretty fun but there were some uncool parts and a lot of honda civic madness lol. as for the shoot ill be in touch.
this is from another GTR owner but my cars in the shot.. its a good shot of our Montreal Skyline family (a few members are missing but we're all there in spirit)
so after the big meet i had a bunch of people comment on the paint on my car... i've never been super impressed with it myself since its the paint that came from Japan (i've never repainted it) it does look good in general, except for a few small imperfections. so i decided i would do the paint some justice and wax the car again. heres some before photos:
Wax on!
why does my exhaust always get a baked on crust like this? anyone have a theory?
Wax coming off!
ahhh mmmmmm fresh
really love the way the rims have a slight sparkle to them in the paint... super fresh
polishied the muffler too!
of course tidied up the engine bay a little... today all i did in here other than clean was remove the OEM boost solenoid since its not needed anymore.
this is by far my favorite shot ive ever taken:
I gotta say, this summer has been so much fun to own this car. I love this car, such a good experience!!!!!
and just for fun i tried to make a panorama shot of the interior.. sorry if this messes up your browser, on mine it just extended out past the forum walls lol... it all lined up inside, but when i looked out the front window i was in some sort of worm hole time space problem , heh.
well tonights update is about the movie, and only pics!
we finished the raw filming tonight for this movie we're working on, we've got SOOO much footage to go through, we've been collecting since the start of summer, I don't imagine we'll have time to sit down and start sorting it all out even till christmas, we're both pretty busy in school at the moment.
I wanna give a big thanks to mark, mitch, frank and pete for helping out so much with this tonight, **** was so cash//... as a sample of tonights efforts heres some really sick photos mark took:
this ones my favorite:
heres pete doin what he does best:
we've managed to film some REALLY incredible things, i think everyone will be super happy with this film when its done. it's going to be somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes long, so an actual short film

@allwheeldrifter... no way!? how!? it belongs to the guy who owns automotion! lol
so today... *sigh* went to the SAAQ and put my car into "storage" for the winter...so its officially away for the season now... and i decided to start the day off with the most important information...
i needed to know after a full season of running my 2860-5 turbos on OEM injectors at 0.9 bar all summer, how things were holding up, mostly because i need to think about my winter plans, if i found one or two cylinders with bad compression numbers, then i would know im gonna have to pull the motor again... so, i started off by pulling the plugs, now i know that the standard ecu switchs to knock maps and retards the timing when the injectors reach max duty... which i know was happening sometimes because you can actually feel it when ur driving... also its obvious because the exhaust becomes saturated with black soot and smoke...
so i know for a fact my car WAS switching to knock maps for any boost above 0.8... basically that last little spike to 0.9 would cause it to rich up.
so needless to say i expected to see some carbon on my plugs:
yep... black carbon on plugs... BUT no where near as bad as i thought it would... actually they looked pretty effin good!!!
so i unplugged everything else and dropping in the compression tester...
GOOD NEWS! every single cylinder was above 150, with pretty much zero deviation... from the looks on the scale of the dial its about 154 PSI across all 6 cylinders...
excellent news... this means for the second season in a row, i've managed to enjoy the hell out of my car, and keep it running in PERFECT condition the entire time...
this also means its time to start thinking about what i wanna do over winter... you guys got any suggestions as to what i should work on for the winter? im all ears at this point!!
