    and i've heard alot about okada, but i've never seen a car running okada products

            • i dunno, im reading up on them and so far apparently higher than 600ps or +22psi boost the Splitfires start to misfire and most of the people with high horsepower will start with the Splitfires end up switching to Okada Projects. but im still reading up on it.

              • Get a set of OEM's and run a kenne bell boost-a-spark. Many archived rb26's used in competition drag/circuit I have seen in older articles use OEM coils. This will cost you <700 and be an extremely good setup.

                  • New OEM coils are great and some cars have seen 800hp on them. Splitfires are great too. Even better is when you couple either with HKS twin power DLI which amplifies more spark. You won't get missfires caused my the ignition system then, even at 1000hp. Splitfires+HKS DLI is about $600 less than Okada, and not many people use them, most people use OEM+HKS DLI or splitfire + HKS DLI as it's much cheaper and just as reliable.

                    Oh ya, most cars in Canada that are over 500whp (some over 600whp) run OEM coils or splitfires only, no missfires and there's the odd guy that has a DLI if he's nervous and has an extra $500 around.

                    You'll be fine Get some good copper plugs.

                      They're more than 2x the price. Splitfires I can get for $450, Okada is what, $1300?

                      on another note, since they car has way over 70k into it, why didn't you go with a dry sump oiling system, carbon drive shaft and other crazy items?

                      Nice looking car though, black on black is win, not really rare but nice! Just need some body work to make it look not so "sleeper" lol.

                        It is a really good idea "NismoS-tune" but now that i'm starting to know Simon somewhat, he never takes the cheaper way out.

                          lol dunno, i did the RB30 cause i needed an engine, im slowly gathering parts, maybe sometime down the road il have a dry sump, but not now. car still kinda looks like poop so im gonna get some bits for the exterior then, single turbo, then maybe an oil sump.
