RB30 Build!

Cobraa mentioned it above - is there a engine spec list with what pars you put into the engine ? I corny find it either. I'm still contemplating buding another Gtr and having a friend ship me a rb30 from oz they are super cheap there.

I never got around to doing a full spec list yet, i will soon though.

as for the mounts, they are lower but by half an inch, we also lowered the transmission buy half an inch too to get rid of the crookedness. trans is stock, but starting to whine a lot ( not a big deal i have a tranny with PPG straight cut gears waiting to go in that i bought from the UK)..... and diffs are kaaz 1.5 front and back. transfer case is also stock.

ooo PPG is nice. not a bad way to spend $8k+ Who'd you get that from? directly from them? Too bad straight cut ain't really streetable but this car isn't really for the street lol

nah a friend in the UK sourced it out for me it was from a time attack car that crashed, i paid 3k for it.

and i might be going dry sump too so my RIPS oil pan might be for sale soon

Why the sodium filled valves? Ferrea advised me to go with their super special alloy valves (thats exactly how they quoted it to me on the phone), they said that would be the best option.

The OEM valves are good till nearly 1000 hp or 800whp or so they say therefore anything from Ferrea is badass, filled or not. Either way, this car better be over 700whp for what's in it so nothing is wasted

Wow dude those are some quality parts.... Good job. Are you going to keep the breather tubes where they are or are you going to relocate them? I have seen them before where people used these on a 26 and got earls fittings tog welded towards the back of the covers.... Anywho, great job on the car I look forward to see this cat finished
