  • Alright so I got the pictures working now!

Today I removed my rear subframe so I can weld up some support plates on the weak spots then its going for sandblasting/powdercoating .I'll also be dropping in solid bushings in the subframe and on the diff mounts aswell. My goal is to get this car runnning by May 7th....this year.

    Got it dropped down

And its out with the help of 2 skateboards

    Cleaned the diff a little.

I finally removed the stock fuel lines that were an eye sore

I also test fitted my cage

    And my new wheels/brakes!

    Stay Tuned

    • Looks great dj. Hey just out of curiosity, where did you get the brakes? They look pretty nice. And the wheel selection was a good one as well
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Agreed, but more like the learning curve of DJ with this car is unreal. When he bought the thing he hardly knew anything about Skylines!

              • Thanks guys, what John (JZ) said is true, i've learned so much by taking stuff apart and reassembling them. When I got the car I had to ask a friend to do the oil change cause I couldnt get to the oil filter, that's how much my knowledge has grown. If you want to put it in another way,I used to believe others when they told me I could get a 1000hp with turning up the boost and a good tune...now you get it.Now I know what goes where without labeling it and which bolt goes where all by heart.I'm at the point where I hope this will be the last bit of work to do on the car cause I've dedicated to many hours on this car.In the end I know i'll be able to admire all the hark work i've put in to it ,hopefully it wont let me down.

Details on the subframe:All the mounting points for the links(LCA,traction rods,RUCA) will have a metal plate welded on the "opened /not braced" side.Sorry Its hard to explain without pictures.I'll post some up as soon as it's done.
