      Thanks for the comment.
Although AWD has its advantage but I always prefer RWD more.
      - Lighter
      - Simpler
I also like the characteristic of RWD. It might not be as fast as an awd but I like challenging cars. Beside that, I am looking to enter drift competition this season so RWD is a must.

      More work done today:

Cleared and unmask. Bolted the condenser, fusebox and wirings back.

      Wire-tuck for extreme lowness

      Car as of now:
      - X-member removed

      Shop pic:
      RB26 240z and GTR

I am going to do the following tmr so stay tuned!
      - hammer/weld pinched weld for extreme low ride height
      - degrease/clean under body
      - new undercoat

Chris from Fortress Fab also started on the FIA approved rollcage. I'll have more pic uploaded tomorrow!

wow this is definately sweet man. Rwd is awesome, i like your decision. It's much more fun when driving brings a sort of challenge, being able to complete the challenge can definately be a task sometimes though. I am going to pm you with a couple questions if you dont mind, i'm interested in a couple of things.
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Charles, this thing looks ******* awesome. I love all your doing here. Exactly what I'd like to do. The color of engine bay is wicked.

How much room do you have rented? And how did you get yourself into that? That's is pretty wicked setup.

            ^ Thanks man.

I can't say how much room I have rented. I chipped in Couple hundred a month for the rent and they are having their own fabrication n bodywork business there. I am just there to work on my car, store my parts and have my sales going on in there so I don't have to meet the buyer at my house.

            ONE BIG PROBLEM!

I was doing the crossmember and the GTS one doesn't bolt up to GTR. The frame rail is totally different!! FML.

Time to fab up some custom frame rail!!

I tried and it doesnt work.

Because of the front axle/half shaft, there is a hump on the frail rail. Therefore the awd crossmember has a different mounting point then the RWD one. Also the front tension rod's bracket are different. The AWD one has the rad support point on the car itself. The RWD one is on the tension rod bracket.

                More fab and it sucks..

yeah isnt that why a GTS-4 or GTS-4R one should work??(in theory ,)

ya i believe the gts4 should work because it is the same, the gts is completely different in the front end. I made this mistake a couple of years ago when i bought a gtr clip and it was different!

Unless he able to trade his for another one that just creates another expense that he didn't expect. I wish you luck charles. I suggest trying the gts4 though

nah..a gts-4 one is the same as a gtr one. It will bolt on to frame rail but not my suspension arms. I am running GTS front tension rod and GTS flca and GTS knuckles. I am not going to sell those since I paid some good money for them...

Yea, I am going to do it from scratch. It doesn't look that hard. I just have to be precise on the mounting point because it will affect my suspension geometry. The car will be a permanent RWD after the modification.
