Just one question though, why not just start with a GTS-T rather than a GTR and swap in an RB26 since you going with aftermarket aero no one is going to tell the difference unless the chasis is more stiff or if i'm missing something else as why to convert a GTR to RWD?

I got alot of people asking me about this. I do it just because I want to piss the GTR guys off with GTS stuff on my car..LOL. Joking aside here are the reasons:

As much as people think starting with a GTS will be cheaper; let me tell you, it's NOT. With a GTR, there is alot of parts you can sell off the car to fund your build. Even with the higher initial cost of the car, I still pay less than at the end comparing with a GTS.

Also, I like stock widebody instead of fiber glass.

Last one..It's A GTR!!!

You are looking at roughly $2000+ for the cage. It really depend on meterial and the style you want, also if you are removing/installing the interior yourself.

The dash will be modify and suede wrap before I put it back it as well. I am keeping full interior and carpet with the exception of the backseat.

Thats sick..one day I'll look into it, thats for sure. keep me posted on how you chop up the dash, when I go to build one I would like it done with the dash out as well.

MOre update!!!

Body Parts Contain the following.
PS duce Type I front bumper
PS duce Type I side skirt
Stock rear bumper
Custom Rear diffuser (not installed yet)
Vent CF hood
CF trunk (not installed yet)
25mm Custom vented widefenders (no..they are not D-max)
GTR grill



I put the Greddy Intercooler and Rebar back it and Kinda mounted the headlight.
It still needs more trimming as the bumper is still pushing against the intercooler so I have a gap between the fender and bumper.

Fail wheel fitment because there is no brake rotors inside.




The front still needs alot of lowering. More work needs to be done to the pinch weld and upper frame rail.




Door doesn't close properly because of the GTS side skirt.

The rear is just fine because the front 25mm fender is the same width as the GTR one. The rear is messed up cuz I have 4-5degree of camber and w/o the brake rotors, the wheels look sunk in. I have a different set of wheels for the car anyways.

Yea..my camera sucks..boo. And somehow I already resize the image but it still show up in megasize!!! wtf.

Regarding the cage, Yea, I am going to paint it either today or tmr.
