    Just read your build thread.

When you put it back together, put the engine and trans together then put it in as a unit. You can even put the front driveshaft on. It's SO much easier/faster to assemble it and then put it in the car.

You can get replacement parts for the transmission at the dealer or on ebay. Contact one of the nissan dealers that sells on ebay and ask them about parts. I've saved literally thousands by shopping stateside.

You can get stainless versions of those cracked manifolds you have on ebay too for about $125.

Your transmission case looks a little weird to me. Maybe just because I haven't seen mine for a while but it looks like the case in the middle might not be "stock".

Don't worry about the clutch fork boot unless you want to. I probably have a used one of those I could sell if you /really/ want one. Just PM me on here with what it's about.

    Anyways sweet car!

Just get your manifolds fixed. The ebay ones never fit right and are all around pieces of junk. I would find some factory manifolds and get them ported way before I would consider ebay garbage.

My ebay ones fit perfectly and are an exact (stainless) version of what you have. The wall thickness and welds are both excellent, they even ground down the welds on the inside to help with flow! Overall I was really impressed. They were $125 shipped to canada, no taxes/duty/brokerage. Anyone that says they "never fit right" hasn't bought any recently, or never has has.

I think this is right. I've talked to a few friends recently about the e-bay ones and they all have worked fine. I think its more so for the RB20/25 top mount. They dont support big turbos. I bought one back in the day for a 35r and the intake housing hit the valve cover with a pie shape space on the flange. :S:S

Also agree with pulling the trans and assemble and then install. I once tried to install an engine with the trans still in (like in your pic) and it was a pain. Spent about 45 min with 2 other guys trying to "line it up right" to slip it in and in the end I pulled the trans in 5 min, installed it and slipped the engine back in with another 10 min with lots less swearing.

What coilpacks are those? I first thought they were CA18 but the pack itself is red too.
Looks good tho. i like the pic of it gripping in the corner. That Silvia is Awesome too!!!!

Its normal they crack, unless its cast iron thats going to happen. I'd say bring it to a welder, get it patched, then make brackets to brace the manifold (with a brace it shouldnt crack). Don't get ebay stuff its always a terrible idea!!! Hidden gem you have there, its an OMG WTF type of moment. You did a crazy purchase...

Yes they are calsonic I believe. They also have plastic on them like most stock rads do. This one is an aftermarket calsonic.
Here are some more pictures. The crank does not need an aftermarket collar for the pump as it was built to fix the problem. Anyone know what oil pump this is? I saw a picture between a stock and n1 but they only have 7 screws in them. Mine has 8, and I stripped two of them Cause I suck.

My Sentra's leaking resonator is Calsonic. *cough* And yeah the stock rad is Cal, mine is anyway.

got the pump apart. anyone know what pump this is? it looks stock from the back, but on the flat side, it looks identical to the HKS pump.

well I know the best pumps out there use 8 screws insteads of 7... so that would be among the ranks of JUN, Tomei, Greddy, HKS, and Nitto... but they all stamp there pumps usually... thats defnitley higher pressure than oem though, look how narrow the oil channel is!... I'm not sure what brand, but its damn goood... also that crank! oh man, thing is beautiful

Archaeic_bloke I dont think you understand the whole oil pressure thing quite right. Having a smaller/narrower passage in the oil pump doesn't increase oil pressure. Well, not where you want it increased. It would actually have decreased pressure (after the restirction) compared to one with a larger passage and identical flow rates.
