Oh beauty. Wish I had lifts. When I had my silvia I used the two cranes at my shop to get **** done. Kind of a pain and dangerous to get under when it sways lol

Alrighty well i havent really done an update in a while here. Car only made 440awhp at 18 psi.
Then, two days after having the car finally tuned, 150kms to be exact, car shuts down after wotting.
So i coast into a side road and figure i just blew another ignitor (wouldnt fire up)
Left it overnight and got to it next day after work, tried starting it and it fired up but ran like a piece.
so i swapped ignitors and it ran the exact same, and i was hearing a really loud clacking sound coming from the valve covers...
so i tow it to work, get the cams out, and lone behold....
Look at how much lower the one bucket is sitting.
Busted up a spring. possibly others but the one is really bad.

So after about 3-4 hours, this is where i was at.

Am leaving it like this until i am ready to put new parts in it (waiting on funds)
Will be getting a medium port job done, and minus valves and guides, going with ferrea for the rest of the valve train.
And while i am at it, will be going with Tomei expremes, upgrading to a couple -5's, and depending on more funds, will get an aquamist water meth kit.

Wow. Havent updated in a while. Floated a valve, f*cked the piston, wall may be okay, we arent sure yet. Here are some pictures of the damage. Also since ive got the engine ripped apart again, I thought i should work on some more asthetics so i got all my intake and ic piping ceramic coated

Since this was the biggest pain in the ass of only getting 150kms out of the car(on full tune), i decided to grow a pair of man balls.
              So i ordered:
Brand new bare head from japland
              All new Ferrea valvetrain
              Tomei 270 10.25 cams
              Tomei cam gears
              Tomei Expreme exhaust manifolds
              Tomei Expreme dumps
              Garrett -5 turbos
              Splitfire coils
all brand spankin new parts. with that in mind, i have up for sale all my old stuff.
              FS:
HKS 272 9.6 cams (great condition)
Adjustable cam gears (not sure what company, unmarked)
The turbos on this thing (honestly dont know what exact turbos they are, looks like a stock set on the outside) made 460rwhp at 18psi
here is a picture of my dyno sheet

just noticed i didnt have a recent picture of what the engine bay looked like this year.
I am looking to get a coil cover right away and chrome it. Along with the ceramic coated piping, i think my engine bay should look pretty sharp next year!

Head is in! I was assuming i was getting a bare head but was glad to know it game with the intake studs, exhaust studs, but what shocked me most of all, is it came with guides! also new cam caps and bolts. Also bought a new coil harness because mine was so brittle and after blowing three ignitors on the dyno, I wanted to do my whole ignition system.

Thanks man! im hoping the same. Dropped the whole engine off last night at Lightspeed Innovations in Red Deer where the long block will be fully built. Cam will be CNC porting the Head as well for super high flow. Heres a couple pictures of the goodies that have came just recently.
split fire coil packs, -5 turbos

Did lightspeed get a 5-axis CNC or is he just shipping it out to get ported somewhere else?

I believe its more of an issue of running into porous steel in the cylinder walls.
