lol stock internals and spray sounds like an educated thing to do. i doubt this motor will last more than a few months at this power level too considering the maturity of the driver

To defend him, he knows his engine could only handle so much power and has the excess money to build a 2.8L stroked. Even if it failed next week, he'll get it fixed and then put down 650-700whp.

You know what you make a good point. It will be simpler to work on, you will make more power and in the long run do have more potential for what your looking to do. I guess I was just surprised at the overall first numbers you through down. Still not bad numbers at all as your car is probably stupid fast and can launch like a fuckin* rocket!

Anyways Luc why don't you run water meth? The kit is like $400 and it is most definatly worth it! You will easily get over that 600hp mark. Best bang for your buck IMO....and it steam cleans your pistons!

I look at it this way....

For what you have spent switching from twins which you made 500whp at probably 1500rpm sooner and now you make 570whp on a larger boost setting then your original twins (you ran 18psi) so really did you gain much? In my opinion your at roughly about the same, you've spent more money and have more lag. This is what I mean by I expected more. Internals shouldn't be that restrictive on a r34 and 5-600hp should be made with ease with what you have. There has to be a missing piece to the puzzle.

bro i made 77 whp more wit 3.5 psi more, lost 10 pound of torke, and 600 rpm of spool , thats the truth calculation,

N BTW a turbo job on twins is 10 hour minimum,, on my car now lol 20 min the turbo is off, thats my main reason too,

csheepp, why don't you pay someone to put together a 578 hp GT-R, with "bolt-ons", and then tell lucky how cheap and easy it was and then run it for, I don't know, a couple thousand km's. Add a couple pics of this car that someone else built for you, and then you can spout off. And try to do it under 78k And I repeat: GOOD JOB LUCKY!!!!!
