Wow....back from the dead is right. Can't wait to see what she can put out with someone who actually knows how to use a micrometer and a brain. Where did the Trust/Grex dogbox come from, had it all along or did you grab that one from West Coast Hotrods? I wish I had the time to work on stuff, my new fuel system might actually get done.

    Keep the updates comin'.....

What was the failure reason, never had a chance to read fully your previous thread! Rod bearing, piston expansion, anywhay on the first page the fuel system looks cool, so you have twin pump with twin fuel rail entry and the center is out to FPR (BTW which kind ) and back to the tank?

    3 pumps
1 in gas tank and 2 in the surge tank and 2 lines feeding to the motor and a huge return
FPR is aeromotive that we anodized black and gold

the reason for pop in the last motor build was incorrect measurements of the components inside the motor, the pistons were rocking inside the cylinder walls....
but now its in better hands and should be correct this time ! i`ve also learned that paying someone to do it for you does `t mean it will guarantee good results ....

[QUOTE=felix yuen;505289]the shop that put the car together before was going to rebuild it for a minor cost in parts....(couple thousand bucks) but they went out of business shortly, it was a long process to get all my parts back.....and SO many parts missing, such as my diffuser, some head bolts, crank bearings, oil pump...and many misc parts that i can't track down....because they went out of business and everything back in the days were in cash, nothing can be refund........a lesson learned i guess !
after taking the motor apart.....we believe the motor wasn't at it's proper spec, some measurement has to be wrong in order to end up like this, that's why it blew up.

Well Felix I do hope you luck takes a turn for the better. I imagine your frustrations as everyone works for what they get. I really hope you get this thing going and avoid those kind of people. Im sure your anxious to get back into your car and drive it. Wishing you the best of luck and obviously I will be keeping an eye on this because this is a very clean build.

I remember you saying you were going to go with a set of bbs lm wheels, you still goin to do that? Also where the heck did you find that dog box? That is a nice and rare item
