      Hi everyone,

I'm planning to get new wheels (Varrstoen ES1) and i have couple of questions about it. I'm looking for good grip on the road and i like beefy tires look. I'm thinking about 18X10.5 with 295/30R18 tires for the rear and 18x9.5 with 275/30R18 for the front.
So the points i want to be sure are:
      1. Will it clear everything with fender rolls?
      2. Do tires specs are too wide for good handling?
I dont have a lot of experience in wheels fitment so if you guys can tell me what you think about this it would be great.

      Thank you,

      Vince

Will these tires fit fine on my car?

        I am also aiming for 265 / 35 R 18 in the future.

Will need to know an answer by Saturday. TIA
I am also looking at buying the same rims and specs.. will they fit nice without rubbing and would i need a fender role??
also which size tire should I go with..

Come on guys lets keep this thread going....and on topic!!

            Here's my new wheels:

17x10 +20 Varrstoens, ES331. Fit great and look great, so no need to hate... :-)
Weighed in at 20 lbs bang on, on my trucking company warehouse product scale.
255/40/17 Yokohama S-Drives. A little skinny for a 10", will be going 265's next year.

Tons of brake clearance with this wheel, and can fit a baby finger between the inner lip and upper balljoint on the front.
No problems with rubbing anywhere, except VERY minor on the front fender liner at full lock over slow bumps.
            No body mods at all.
Rears have tons of room to spare.

18x10+25 on 255/35/18, with a 2.36" drop (60 mm) from stock height. No fender work, no rubbing whatsoever. I could've actually gone with a more aggressive offset (+20) and it would've been fine. I wanted to reduce the neg camber so that the wheels won't tuck in as much, especially in the front, but my upper control arms are maxed out.

I am looking at a set of bbs lms. Specs are 18x10 +5. Would i have a problem with clearing the brakes at all?

They'll certainly clear the brakes. Rubbing on fenders could be an issue.

after calculating it, that size will only stick out 1mm more then a 18x10.5 +12 that i wanted to run. just wanted to make sure the back spacing wouldnt have problem with clearing any brakes or suspension. offset calculator also says i would have 13mm more inner clearance then the 18x10.5 +12
