    is it tuned yet?

jk can't wait till she is done!

I was very impressed with the paint. Jeremy showed me his illustrator mock of what it was going to look like before the job was done. I thought then it was going to look like crap but it turned out great! are you going to change your plenum to a greddy one ? now that you have the rb25?

I think I am going to get a plasma-man... Seem nice too me. Could go Greddy though.

I may need a larger turbo to supply 400whp on pump, so that requires top-mount, and an intake plenum.. I'll know in a couple weeks what I am going to do.

Don't get a plazmaman, they are good, but having had both I'd say go for the greddy mani, its cheaper, easier install and a q45 tb goes straight on.

Plus it goes straight to the head, the plazmaman one sits on top of the stock runners, do some research before you buy.

                with that being said.....

do you have that Fooking car appraised man?
if anything happened to that thing.....youll get a fat cheque from ICBC for a measly 10k or so?

                that would hurt the wallet!

I will be plating the car at the end of the month (finally back to 0% with ICBC.) I will be paying about $1000 extra a year, for a $40,000 replacement value on the car.

Actually I got it tuned a little at Racing Greed, and it did hit 290whp.
I spoke with the owner of the shop I had been dealing with on the Saturday after the tune, and he asked if it was ok for him to book his own dyno time at another shop that week to confirm those numbers... This is in fact halfway thru the second week since that conversation, and still no word on that alternate dyno time.

I am going to give them a call this saturday if I don't hear anything, because I want to continue tuning the car at Racing Greed... They want to open up more of the powerband, and I have colder plugs waiting to be installed. I think I have waited long enough! lol

Because you swapped your engine to the 25 i would go with the greddy plenum now that you can. as for a top mount it depends on what turbo your going with. You should check out exoticspeed.ca the mani i got was twined then they put on a twin scroll housing for the turbo to help reduce the turbo lag. My turbo is rated for 400 and beyond although my engine internals won't be able to handle it so i am stopping at 300. If i feel i need more HP then I'll just go to a RB26 and join the 500-600 club 8) Hey we should dyno together I should be ready for dyno by mid week just have to get the new clutch broken in.
