whats that blue hose on the exhaust side under the intake/maf pipe?
    Blue vacuum hose or coupler?

The vacuum hose goes to my BOV (it's where the stock SMIC was). The blue coupler is the charge pipe after turbo.

Jon, we already know your third wife is quite the looker

It's a bit sketchy driving on wet roads right now with 5% tread in the rear.

clean looking engine bay..i like that intake manifold. Must have been a pretty penny. I hope i get my car on the road soon..quite similar build to yours, minus the intake mani and snazzy braided lines. Went with a gt32 though so I'll be the king lag-master...

I told you'd I'd bring my JVC DVD recorder but nooooo someone went without me!

haha looks good though. I want to go for a ride with the new injectors and safe tune! Hopefully a dry day comes up.

Jon you need to take me for a rip in your car too. God damn.

                  I like.

That is a very clean stock engine bay. Looked like it just rolled off production line. The end result looks, sounds amazing on dyno.

thx. Yeah the stock engine bay at 103,000KM was immaculate. ONE previous owner of 12 years and he liked things stock. Only rims, a nismo Fiberglass spoiler and a turbo timer as mods. The engine bay had all the stock clips, no scratches even. I wonder what s/he'd say if he saw how the car is now.

                      thx.

Yes, the stock elbow angle makes it hit the manifold and not fit properly.

You need to have it cut, cut again at an angle then TIG weld it. You need to cut the pieces, tape them together and fit the manifold, make notes on adjustments, cut some new angle, tape, repeat until it fits then weld.

Got some new pieces yesterday and cleaned up the engine bay a bit more, got rid of my old fan relay (version1) and updated to a shorter, cleaner version.

Ricer mod: deleted 100 grams off the engine bay the stock valve cover breather fitting is steel and heavy!!!
