    • i think Ive found where the clunking was coming from at low speeds. the axles have a bit of play that gets amplified through the diff gear ratio. anyone know what axles from a domestic vehicle will work on the r32?

I was using this picture as a reference i love how low and flush this is but still looks practical

          • Thanks man took about three height adjustments to get it there, I think the rear wheels would look nicer out another 5mm or so but I'm not gonna touch it.

            • had to change my BMC because it was leaking out the back and down the booster, its the 4th one since ive owned the car.. i ordered a brake stopper to put in with the new BMC just to see if it would make it last any longer. made sure the BMC was new instead of refurbished too.

                • just a few pics of how i bled the master cylinder. i put about 4 bottle of brake fluid through the system getting air out.. that would be the worst part about taking your calipers completely apart and letting the lines and master sit dry for weeks. what a pain.

got the low profile jack from Canadian tire on sale. i love this thing. 24" of lift.

got some vintage nismo stickers with a well earned wash/wax

                  • Updates getting the car ready for summer:
-changing engine oil for amsoil 10w40

-Jacking points kind of collapsed and pushed up into the car about 2 years ago and had started to rust, slowly hammered everything back into shape from inside the car and used some por15 to seal everything. (stuff is amazing) coated gas tank too. If anyone hasn't used it before it creates a super tough almost ceramic coating and fixes all rust. It's a three step process.

-Upgraded wheels to some nice r33 gtr wheels with 245/45 Hercules tires( crap tire apparently)
-Upgraded seats to R33gtr mint seats bought at the actions still on the boat from Japan.

                    • When I did the neo swap, the transmission cross member didn't line up perfectly so I only had it in with two bolts. Three years later I noticed the member had started to bend and trans was sagging slightly.

I used some 1/4"steel plate and made brackets to act as an extension for the cross member with an aluminum plate as a big washer to make it stronger. To compensate for everything dropping 1/4" because of the plate between the body and cross member I added a aluminium shim between the member and transmission mount which pushed it back up into place.
