so i finally got my nistune wiring worked out. i did the diagram upside down. but i got the car uploaded with a z32tt map and iam making adjustments to mimic the stock fuel map values and adjust it from there(a copy and paste for the map values would make life so much easier).

so finally going to street tune this today. nick do you think this is worth the value or is it really that easy to do the wiring myself????

i have a gal that lives in milton. iam going to head up there in the next few months, and i challenge you to a few races to see who is the fastest. seeing that we have almost identicL Setups...

ya man it is really easy i just built it on the coffee table while watching tv then threw it in the car and sautered that last few connections together. Just make sure you do it properly with heat shrink and all that, (no electrical tape)

I'm down for a race except im on the west coast, so that could be a problem lol. I'm most likely going to the track a couple times this year so we can just compare 1/4 mile times, mine wont be very impressive though. 235's out back don't do very much when I'm launching from a dig. Top of 1st is loose and all of 2nd wont hook either..... should have bought a GTR haha..

well having no traction is fun for a little while but now its time to get down to business, the goal is zero camber and heaps of grip
so some 275/40/17's are on their way and my 235's are going up front.
some parts i need to order,
-fender flares or maybe over fenders
            -gettin some oem spats too
            -RUCA's
-Hiacas lock kit + toe arms

then finish fixing my vented hood and then onto painting the car

Whiteline pineapple bushes to change angle of rear subframe for more traction and stop subframe movement. Nitto or similar drag radials on the rear of car. What you'll probably find out is a set of stock GTR rims (very light, around 6.5kg or something like that) with proper drag radials will help with traction.

woah havn't updated here in a while! Thanks! yeah i don't exactly have a ton of money to spend being a broke university student but I'm not doing too bad

A couple weeks ago a couple of my buddies and Corey and Brent went to our local drag racing event, it was an awesome day and i managed to squeeze a 12.3 @ 120mph with a 1.9 60'. (no traction untill 3rd )
Now I'm going back again tomorrow but with my cambered tires flipped around and i also Hard wired my LS2 coilpacks with direct battery voltage via relay (with 10 gauge wire), So hopefully that fixes some break up issues i recently developed near red line. ( 6500 + ). If not ill quickly head down to racing greed and get them to bump the dwell up once again from +35% over stock to around +60%

Also finally got a legit battery box for the trunk and wired in a kill switch behind the license plate to pass tech!
seriously hoping for 11's tomorrow which i dont think I'm too far off from with a decent launch and maybe some traction

                        I like.

A 12.3 1/4 mile is around the same as a R33 (similar rwhp). Would be happy with that.

thanks guys! heres a preview of whats up next. not too bad for a basically free hood and your basic lordco 2 stage paint and pounds of body filler.

and skym, not sure what you mean, like a stock r33?
the dyno my car was tuned on was proven to read %15 lower than actual whp so my set up is right around the 450whp mark

ive also been back to the drags a couple times and i cant seem to crack the 11's. lots of 12.3's though. i even managed a 12.3 at 123mph with a missshift into 3rd. surely i would have hit a high 11 if it were't for that

Engine was stock on R33. It had a bolt on turbo (stock exhaust manifold), basic fuel, etc supporting mods (nothing special, just very basic boost up mods). I think was close to 380whp for the R33 to run the 12.4 1/4 mile.

Probably a mid to low 11 sec car if has 480whp, drag slicks, etc. That's with the car dialed in to suit. Wheelspin could be due to car isn't setup for dragstrip (setup for racetrack / road use). Also Skylines tend to have alot of camber on rear when squating that needs to be dialed out (at least half a second on 1/4 mile). Gets worse when car is lowered.

well it looks like my photobucket account got maxed out so now im onto Flickr!

my fender flares came in the mail the other day so i put them on for a test fit....

so now im going to need bigger wheels to fill it out..

i know its a 240 but the fitment should be similar. thats 18x12 -3 i believe.
