This is how my car sits right now

      No more turbo!

Had to realign the 25 to match perfectly the 20 pattern

Could not uses the kinugawa actuator but i dont care the 20 one is already 10 psi

Also had to buy a elbow because its not the same as the 20

Finally looks like a rb25 turbocharger but with a much bigger turbine/compressor :P

R32 RB20DET internal wastegate actuator = around 12psi (when tested 2x R32 RB20DET internal wastegate actuators on bench).

Decided to cancel stock waterline going to the turbo because its really was crap to make them fit properlly. I will block the banjo bolt on the block .

The return( the one in the back of rhe block) seperates in 2 rubber hose behind the block. Can i just block both separatly or loop them togheter?

"Bolt-on" turbo...mmmk we dont have the same definition of bolt on.

          Thanks!

Did a test drive tonight. One word:

                Hollymotherfu***ingsh*t!

This hybrid is pushing wayyyyy more at stock boost than a rb20 one at 15 psi!

Worth all the hours put in the car because its was **** to make it fit . Not bolt on at all like they said ! But finally it runs and runs good!

                  I like.

ECU tune makes it better (feels flat without a ECU tune to suit). But be careful (avoid thrashing car until can do the ECU tune), as the engine will be running leaner with stock maps, stock fuel system, etc.

Basic RB20 hybrid turbo is 20hp more at same boost level (over stock turbo). It's an easy 270hp (engine) at 12psi with stock maps, fuel system. With your hybrid stock turbo it should reach 270hp at engine at around 10-11psi (from memory). Tune adds roughly 15-30hp.

                      Could not resist..

Ordered a front facing plenum! And also a blitz ss blow off valve ( really like the blitz sound)

Also make a little order in rawbrokerage

-440cc deatschwerks injector ( sold my rb26 one. I better like to have new injector)

                      - -10 an rocker cover adapter ( replace stock barb fitting in valve cover with -10an fitting)

                      - intake plenum gasket to replace it when ill change my plenum.

                      So far i will have

                      -rb25 hybrid turbo
                      -intake/exhaust/decat
                      -electronic boost controller
                      -fmic
                      -z32 maf
                      -front facing plenum
                      -blitz ss blow off balve
                      -walbro fuel pump 255lph
                      -440cc injector

Hope ill break the 320whp !

                        Hey guys!

I received my front facing plenum and i've started the intake swap.

First i remove this little bit**

I have to say that these 11 bolts are really annoying to get out!

                        No more intake yay!!

First thing i realised is that the fuel line is in the way so you have to bend the hard line a little (take it easy it can broke easily)

Next i needed to cover up the hole and drill 2 of the eleven bolt hole because 2 holes have thread cause they are bolted downward to the plenum not upward

                        1st test fit

I was really surprised when i realised that the stock throttle cable will fit! I thought that i would need a ka24 cable but no it fit perfectly!

Ill keep you update but right now whats left to do:

                        -loop the coolant line
-make a new piping for the tb
-hook a new bov to the piping
-make a bong for the iac valve and air regulator
-take all the vacuum to the manifold
                        -make longer fuel line

Question for you guys. Can i delete the air regulator since its for cold start and i store my car in winter? And just keep the iac valve

Finally i'll leave it. Right now i still don't know if ill take the car for a tune before this winter Its a little late in the season. I think ill just run the setup with stock boost for the next 1 month and a half.

I'm already thinkin about this winter

                            -Electric rad fan
-maybe (i need to read a little) but a water/meth kit seems interesting!

I still don't know how it works and if a nistune ecu can deal with that?

There's the AACV (Auxiliary Air Control Valve) and then the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve).

AACV is used when rpm needs to be raised while aircon, light's, etc are on (that's why it has "Auxiliary") and allows air around the closed throttle plate inside throttlebody. If AACV wasn't there, engine should run rich and stall.

IACV is used for when engine is running richer and closes as engine warms up. It works with AACV to provide enough air to intake plenum to combat the richer mixture in cylinders when engine is warming up.

On older cars (before 80's and into early 80's) used to run manual choke on dash. IACV is a automatic version of that manual choke. It allows engine to be warmed up while driving. It saves sitting on the spot and pushing choke in on dash as engine warms up, before driving.

When runs out of water, meth the engine would knock, unless ECU can compensate. It would work for dragracing (short burst's) or additional boost on racetrack for overtaking, if ECU can adjust tune to suit when the water, meth injection kicks in, runs out of water, meth.

Nistune (modified stock ECU) can switch to knock maps with a tune for no water / meth injection if it detect's knock. But it doesn't switch right away (probably would be too slow to switch) and probably wouldn't switch at higher rpm where it needs to switch when it runs out of water, meth.
