FYI load ratings are the number after the size, it is universal and all JIS tires have them you will have something like P225/50ZR16 92V

The 92V is the load rating, and if you look on the placard inside your door, it lists the proper tire and load rating, and inflation pressures.

FYI tire pressures are a standard number too. All tires are rated for standard duty at 35PSI and max load at 41PSI.

None of these figures EVER change, and JIS uses the exact same standards as we do. They just don't consider it relevant to state the obvious on the sidewall when it never changes and is always the same. (unlike North America where we seem to love stating the obvious)

these ones would be considerably cheaper. You can get a used set off ebay for under $100.

Rocks design (althought cool) is considerably more money. CLoser to $200+.

So these accord lights fit very well, they use better bulbs, and are cheaper. I think it wins on most levels. No offence to Rock, he is doing VERY good at helping the skyline community.

I am just a big fan of the 9005/9006 headlight combination. You can get 100W low beam bulbs and light up the whole road in front of you. I dont find I can get the projectors to light as well overall.

thats what we needed to know. It seems others that are installing these lights for profit are suggesting you need access to welder, grinder and a sawzall to hack up the whole front end of the car to make them fit.

I look forward to seeing your installed pics as well

Long time without an update, any progress on this front?

                Mounting brackets? What's needed?

                  Crickets chirping . . .

I just bought a pair of lights off ebay. If no one else does anything before I get them I'll just post the results and autocad plans for the brackets to be made.

Howdy, I received my accord lights late last week and have been meaning to get around to this this weekend but have been sick lately so not much work getting done on the car. I'll keep you updated.

here is my prototype 95 accord lights.. mated OEM R32 wiring for headlights with 95 accord wiring (thanking charles for R32 headlights wiring + corner lamps).. I tried to make my own brakets but i dont feel safe with my own brackets.. but I will get my shop this saturday to get one made for me..
Will let all of you know if it passes or not.. My goal is to have this fitted, passed with 5% modification on the body (only drilling involves but no welding, whatsoever)

Hey guys this is great news and the best lights I've seen for sure!

If this works what shop can someone recommend that can do these modifications?

How much did all the parts cost including the 95 Accord lights. Wouldn't any series of lights from the Accord work eg 94-97 ?

I'm just curious if your cars haven't passed yet what are you driving them with?
How long can temporary insurance last and how much does it cost?

I hope you guys pass your VI.

Good job!! Thanks for sharing. Could you please do some wiring diagram and picture of the bracket once you have them?
In the end the gov't will do as they please and if they do kill the 15 yr rule life will go on, and we will find other cars readily available to pour our hearts and wallets into. The Skyline is a great car, but its not the only one. It might be a case of easy come easy go.------------- JZ
