If this works what shop can someone recommend that can do these modifications?

How much did all the parts cost including the 95 Accord lights. Wouldn't any series of lights from the Accord work eg 94-97 ?

I'm just curious if your cars haven't passed yet what are you driving them with?
How long can temporary insurance last and how much does it cost?

I hope you guys pass your VI.
I was actually helping mark out for the parts. but i would guess 150 for the parts. 5-60 for the accord light, 100 for the gtst corner cuz you will have to modify them. Don't know how much for harness since i have a broken headlight at home so i gave this to him.

For the temp insurance, you are only allow to get one day but you might find some place that will give u 15days. Do not recommand driving with temp insurance tho. it is around 25 bucks a day. the more the day, the cheaper it is.

        Charles,

Can you elaborate more on what's needed to be modified on the GTS-T corners?

        Thanks

In the end the gov't will do as they please and if they do kill the 15 yr rule life will go on, and we will find other cars readily available to pour our hearts and wallets into. The Skyline is a great car, but its not the only one. It might be a case of easy come easy go.------------- JZ

This is super news!! There was a skyline pulled off the road the other day because his headlights weren't DOT. (Peace River, Alberta). It's only one cop doing this, but it was making me nervous. He took the guys plate and told him to park it until it was fixed and re-insepected. Now seeing how amazing these fit, I am ordering some lights before he stop's me and yanks my car off the road. A+

I have these lights on my gtr now, the only problem is at night i HAVE to drive with my highbeams on or i cant see anything, the alignment is pointed directly at the ground, i dont think i have much adjustment left on the screws too, plus the more i adjust the more they look out of place. anyone know how to adjust the bulb/ beam pattern on these other than adjusting the whole headlight angle?

Is this second hand information? Or are you the guy? Any chance he was just plain old speeding??

If it was daylight out the cop cannot take your plate or make you park your car. Only if you have to use your lights to get home. Even then as I understand it the car MUST be left right where it is for a minimum of 24 hours to allow you to make arrangments for it to be removed. And if its only about headlight then you can always come back in the morning and get the car.

This is what I was told. It's not a big town only 6800 ppl. And He made a point to go and tell my friend about it right after it happened at his work. Knowing that I would be next in line. (Only 2 skylines on the road here.) From what I am told this and his muffler tip is why he was pulled over then taken off the road. I haven't heard an update, maybe it's back on the road.

Will you also take my HKS Pillow Ball Mounts and scratch/chip/dent the hell out of my car? You're lucky the car wasn't in my name when this happened.

                      Hey guys

Any new information here? Is anyone going to be making and selling brackets for these lights?

Aren't all 94-97 Accord Headlights the same?

One more thing, to the guy that said he can't see properly with these lights, did you figure out a solution? Is anyone else having trouble driving safely and seeing properly at night with these lights?

                      Thanks

Can you post some pics of lights off the car, i would like to see what you had to cut off to get them to fit. if not just some over head shots.

I may be ordering a set of lights really soon and putting them on my white car. So I will do a full DIY for fitting these on when I am done. So be patient. It will be done in about 2 weeks.

Can't believe I missed this thread!

This is by far the best headlight solution I've seen. Its great the OP used GTRC to spread the news and the goodwill.

Good luck to all the west coasters. I'll sticky this in FAQ for future reference.
