Other than that, we are hoping it will be a good time. Not looking to do much more than participate and finish.

cant wait to see the car here in targa :P ive been wanting to do it for years now but it conflicts with classes as its in sept .... but i know a lot of locals here that race and i have been involved in the early days of it ... my old mans company was one of the major sponsors for a few years in the beginning... its an awesome time and it can be quite hard on cars :P but any driving here is hard on cars ... but we have some of the best twistys and fun roads i have ever driven on ...

Well I just went by the body shop and snapped a few shots of the GTR getting prepped ..... its looking good so far
they where just giving it a final clean/ degrease before the sanding starts
they also had a killer NSX that would be fun to run the Targa in he he

some more pics of the progress, they had to give a bit of love to the rocker panel ,but did a nice job fixing it
... we are getting close, one more trip to see the stripe layout and then it will be time to pick it up

I got a tip. Watch for the pot holes from PAB to St. John's.LOL. Also i think it is great to see someone entering a Skyline. I always wanted to enter my but didn't have near the budget to do it. also i would like to hook up if you have time and see the car in person on your way through it looks great.

My uncle ran the Targa last year, he finished 3rd over all and here's the car they did it in



You should shoot him an email, I'm sure he'll be happy to give you some pointers.

I think Ive seen a few clips of that Mini running the Targa ..... and I was impressed how he ripped through some city block twistys at WOT

And as a teaser here is the stripe layout, I think they did a better job spacing the stripes out on this one than the taisen car

The paint is done and the car looks unbelievable!

Just waiting for the bumpers to dry so they can go back on tomorrow afternoon!

The guys at New West Collision really went above and beyond on this, their workmanship is amazing! (I guess that's why there's another GT-R in there getting a Bee*R324 kit on it right now......)
