700+ monthly? wow.. It breaks my heart to know that. I can't afford to have a skyline if that's the insurance rate..

per month unfortunately lol. the friends I do know on facility are in their early-mid 20s with 5-10yrs of driving experience and they pay $450-500 for comp/liability, no collision. picture a 16 year old with no second car to bring rates down, and a skyline on top of that. that is the sole reason why I dont have one in my driveway right now

and yuan, pulsar will be the same. if its RHD, expect rates to be the same across the board.

Thats how they get their coverage. Facility is the end of the line, since you cant be denied insurance in ontario, facility picks up the high risk of the high risk drivers, usually for 10k annual premiums. owners of RHD cars fall under this category unfortunately

OMG.. I guess I have to find a LHD wrx if that's the case.. or maybe the older rx7(FC).. I saw some for sale in kijiji.. I hope they have cheaper insurance.. 700 per month is too high.. I'm gonna be broke if that's the rate of a RHD car..

Yeah, I'm not having any luck finding anyone except Facility. And it'll be $550-600/mnth. for me. That's WITH a second vehicle too... Ugh...

Yeah, I'm paying 400/mnth. for a FWD Ford Windstar with two other cars on the policy. 5 yrs. driving experience on this end. 21 yrs. old. Insurance = legalized rape

When I was on the market for a RX-7 (LHD and RHD was the same?) every quote I received was $8000 yearly, some as high as 11k. 4 years driving exp with a clean record, I dont really want to think how much my GTR is going to be once spring comes around.....

The thing with cars like RX7s and Supras is most companies will just find a canadian vin for a quote. I know a few people that have had CDN vins used for insurance on RHD supras in particular, how they did it Im not sure of.

Good God... I hope you guys are talking to your MPs and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario because the situation has just spiraled out of control.

Every Ontarian has the RIGHT to affordable insurance. $300, 400 and $700/month are NOT affordable rates for any income level.

If you want to own these cars, you need to get political.
