If you ever wanna meet up I got an original BeeR kit on mine, that BeeR racing installed in Japan, and im in Edmonton too.
Thanks, Martin said he would snap some pics for me.
You bet man. I actually saw your car driving in Spruce Grove a few years ago on my way to a racing event. Made my head snap around instantly lol. Looked really good.
The only problem with this fake beeR kit is the rear overfenders. They don't quite make it to the door and there is a gap under the windows. I'm sure it could be glassed smooth but I figured if we did that it might crack. I don't mind the "kitted" look so I think it will be fine.
My car won't be back in Alberta for a few weeks but when it is I plan on attending some skyline meets.

this is definitely something id like to see in person one of these days. im considering a R324 kit soon, and would like to see the proportions in person before i do anything
This last weekend my brother and I went down to pick up the car. It looks great, the bayside blue is just the right color.
Here are some pics of when we picked it up and in my driveway
First driving impressions... FAST! Boost comes on hard. It seems to reach full boost around 5000rpm and just pulls like a freight train to 8krpm. I find myself bouncing off the rev limiter the RPMs come up so fast.
I've never experienced lag between gears but this car has some. When the BOVs dump that 20psi it takes a second to make it back up but that is minor. I now know why people install anti-lag systems on their cars. Never had a car with turbos large enough to notice lag. Super fun to drive, and too tempting to drive fast. I love it.
Martin did an excellent job on the mechanicals of the car. Everything works as it should. I'm completely impressed on how it turned out. There is some finish work that needs to be done that minor.
I don't know what mod to do next... I think I will just enjoy it for a little while
And I thought 2530s would get great boost at 3500rpm or so... 5000 rpm is really laggy, like supra-big-single-turbo kinda laggy.
Sweet looking kit though!! Almost as nice as the real thing. I'm one of the few that enjoy R32 GTR bodies I guess and people aren't fooled lol. I'd like to know how much the kit installed and painted cost. If you're open about it, send me a PM!
Edit: Oh, you said FULL boost at 5000rpm. That's alright then. As for laggy, a stock GTR is pretty laggy (coming for a guy used to cars with V8s)
