    • When it gets out of paint I will go get it. It still needs to be fired up and Martin is going to give it a good base tune. So maybe a week or a week and a half?

      • Here is a post I made on another thread, explains why this is taking a little longer than expected. Thanks to Martin for finding all these issues before it could have ended badly.

So many problems to fix on this car. Martin is ready to hunt down and kill everyone at the previous shop for their work.

Where should I start... Missing starter bolt, missing transmission to engine bolts, missing front driveshaft bolts, broken shifter fork (which required dropping the transmission to fix), rear turbo oil feed line not installed properly (which involves removing turbo to fix), vaccuum lines not plugged on bottom of plenum, missing subframe bolt, and they dropped the engine/transmission without disconnecting the speedo cable which broke the 260km/h cluster. This build has been delayed quite a bit with these problems.

On the plus side, oil lines are on and motor has been primed. Makes good oil pressure. Guages are done. Car is basically ready to fire up except for some reason the hand held commander for the ECU doesn't want to work. They are waiting for everything to check out before firing it up for the first time. Should happen tonight or tomorrow if they can narrow down the problem.
Martin figured out why the commander doesn't work. It's for a later style Apexi than the one I have. He is borrowing one from a friend and will tune with that. Now I need to sell my commander and buy the correct one.

Here are a few more pictures

Oil cooler installed. Knew those large openings were good for something.

Wheel spacers installed, much nicer fitment.

        Interior finished

            • the pipe cleaner was between the Crank case Vent on passengerr side and the turbo piping, it was on the back side of the restrictor. it broke off through the restrictor, and was left on the backside of it.

Levi, you forgot to mention the heater hose wasnt at all on the engine block side.

Well, a big thanks to Zulu, this evening I will be picking up the FCC3 commander, to talk with your GTR33L PFC, and he is also lending me his Datalogit.

              +1 Zulu

Yup, it's in my sig. Can't say that I'm a fan of the conversions, and this brings a tear to my eye, but to each his own.

                  • There is nothing wrong with the conversion. There isn't much I like about a stock R32 over an R324.

                    • Fuel Labs regulator? Good choice, much cheaper than Aeromotive and the exact same in every way.

                      • It's a Weldon FPR, about the same price as an aeromotive. Bought it before I decided to buy an aeromotive fuel pump or I would have bought one. Has an aeromotive fuel pressure guage on it though.

Hmmm just looked at prices. The Aeromotive is actually quite a bit cheaper than Weldon.

                        Aeromotive
