Hey ! Yeah berwick is like 15 minutes from here.
It was dyno'ed when I was back in ontario. I think there's a place in windsor that has a 4wd dyno...heard it on the radio not too long ago. They had an open dyno day or something.1990 Nismo GtR #283

Good stuff, I know only one high performance shop in Windsor that would cater to that sort of thing... Hood's Hardware. A well known 4X4 dirt racing enthusiast shop... and a hold up for some bad ass VW's. There is also an in ground dyno in Berwick, on Rafuse RD. Highway #1 but thats a single roller so you would have to dyno with RWD.
If you still are thinking of selling feel free to shoot me a pm...I am in the market for a GTR...

I have a lot invested in that rebuild so I'll definitely try to make it work first...
So I put the leakdown tester on #1 and I could feel the air coming out of #2 spark plug hole. Head gasket is ******. Looks like I'll have to get the engine out again
At least I'm getting pretty good at it1990 Nismo GtR #283

Car looks great. I don't blame you for not selling, with that much committed to a build I would be hard pressed to part ways with it to!

I'll start by retorquing the head just to make sure. When I did it I had the cams in but I think this time I'll take the cams off just to get the best access possible to the headbolts.
Next update tomorrow...1990 Nismo GtR #283

Thanks for the offer Dan. I'll let you know if I need help. What's up with you anyway ? I saw you sold a couple of parts...
For the update: can't get the crank pulley out because there's not enough space to fit the impact wrench and of course I torqued it to spec...something like 300 ft-lbs. So I'll have to take the engine out. Probably this weekend. Then I'll be able to take the timing belt out, then the cams, then retorque the head.
A little bit of cleaning and back in it goes.
More to follow.1990 Nismo GtR #283
