So now that the car is put away for the winter I have started to do a little work on it. There are a number of things I want to do to it before spring but the first job on the list was to spice up the interior a little. While I was in the process of getting my Skyline I was all over the web looking at other Skylines getting ideas for what I wanted to do to it once I got it. One thing I really liked was the CF wrap that a few of the cars had on their dash. I only saw a couple cars with it back then but now its seems like everyone is doing it lol. Anyway after many of tedious work I got everything wrapped and it looks great, however I don't plan on doing anymore for a long time! Next I installed a Nismo 320km/h cluster that I got from BLITZEN, Props to him for sending it to me so quick! Then I replaced the torn shift and e-brake boots, they are just cheap ebay boots so they will probably get replaced later.
I picked up some blue LED's for the cluster, Aux gauges, and the cigarette lighter. I also installed some blue LED's under the dash on the drivers and passenger side. I really like the way it turned out
So the interior work is done for the moment and I can move on to other projects. I want to get the following done before spring.
1. Brake Job- I have AMS Max slot rear rotors, AMS two piece fronts, Hawk HP brake pads and Goodridge brake lines. I also want to get my calipers painted dark blue.
2. Suspension- The car rides a little rough, which is really to be expected for a car like this on roads like these haha. So I want to try to improve that a little and also want to drop the ride height as well. To do this I got some HKS Hipermax III coilovers, I picked these because I plan on taking the car to the track in the future.
3. Get a bigger battery- Nuf said.
4. New rims/tires- I currently have one bent rim and would also like something bigger in 18x9.5. Not sure what I am going to get yet but I have a number of different ones I am looking at.
5. Compression test- I never did this when I first got the car and I want to know now if there are any issues before I continue with any more upgrades.
6. Get a real camera!- The iphone just isn't cutting it
Thats about it for now but I am sure something else will pop up, it always doesLast edited by R33-East; 02-19-2012, 04:39 PM.

Yes, the R33 can be made RWD but you cant just remove the fuse or you will burn out the clutch packs in the transfer case because R33 and R34 GTR run a preload whereas there is no preload on R32 GTRs.Double track drift, yo.

Time for an update, I installed my coilovers and set the ride height to 355mm measured from the wheel center to the fender. I am just waiting for my whiteline control arms to come in so I can adjust the camber and straighten up the wheels.
I also took my calipers to Radical Advantage in Fredericton to get them rebuilt and powder coated. They turned out great, I will definitely be going back to them in the future.
Next I drilled holes for the rear dampening adjustment knobs in the parcel shelf. The knobs stick up about an inch above the shelf so I need to shorten them up a bit.
Once I took a closer look at them it appears that isn't an option. There is a square portion about 1/2inch long on each end for attaching the knob and the piece that hooks to the coilover. I will not be able to cut enough off and keep the ends square so I need to find something else to use. Im sure I could make something fairly easy.
A couple weeks ago I bought a carbon wing, it wasn't something I planned on getting but I got a pretty good deal. While removing the old wing I had one bolt on each side strip in the hole, the threaded insert in the wing broke free so the bolt wouldn't unthread. I had to drill the head off of the bolts to get the wing off. When I put the carbon wing on the two holes on the right side didn't line up, I just barely got the bolts in.
To complete the look a got a set of the nismo end caps, these just stick onto the stock caps.

Thread cleaned up! Please keep it all about the build guys!
Nice work BTW!
Colin I don't have everything put back together yet but I did notice that the fuel pump ecu will be in the way. I have a plan for moving it out of the way, ill post once I get it done.
