Ay ya! Sorry everyone, it's been busy here (I know it's always my excuse) Things have been going pretty well on this build. After I left you guys with the start up video we basically had to go back to focusing on customer swaps and work. Nguyen worked on it here and there to complete it. Were still waiting on the custom RB34 covers we sent out to be polished and made. But as mechanics goes, it took a bit to work the kinks out.
Because of the aggressive overlapped cam timing, the GTR doesn't make much vacuum. So Nguyen had to install a vacuum pump to help build vacuum, it helped especially for the brake booster (where he needed it most of course).
We also needed to install twin MSD DIS-4 Ignition box systems for the coils to keep up at high rpm.
We began street tuning the gtr and he said the response was rowdier than the RB26. However he said the lag on the turbo was about the same (we upgraded from the Borg Warner S400sx 67mm to the Borg Warner S400sx 80mm) but we estimated around 500+hp
Nguyen built an 5.5" intake for the turbo too.
Engine bay is a bit messy but were gonna worry about cleaning it up after and when we get our custom polished covers back.
So after a few months of break in driving, working out the kinks, making it to a few car shows and meets. We decided to put it on the dyno for max pump gas hp.
Below is the PUMP GAS dyno graph.
On 17psi it made 671whp on 91 pump gas @8000rpm.Link ECU / Nistune / Apex'i / Greddy / HKS / Cosworth / Megan Racing / Agency Power / Tomei / Perrin / Cobb / Aeromotive / Stance / HSD / Battle Version

So, here's the full updated on the gtr.
On tuesday we put VP racing import race gas in and Nguyen started dyno tuning.
on the first run the tires were slipping on the dyno so we didn't get an accurate reading.
We had me and 2 other employees sit on the trunk to aid with traction on the rollers and our first pass was 809.9whp @ 7500rpm.
We did 4 more passes and bumped up the timing to 20 degrees and our final run we settled with a happy 851whp @ 7550 RPM with 596 ft-lbs. on 24psi falling to 21psi of boost.
Right now we want to figure out why the boost falls top end. were thinking its the restrictive 3" exhaust w/ 2 resonators. We also think it may be the mac tools boost solenoid were using. Were gonna sort that out first before attempting to get more power. Over all we thought this turbo would be laggy for the size but with the added displacement it turned out okay.
Here is the 851whp video
Here is the dyno graph

Sorry this build thread died a bit. Over the winter we had to pull the motor. We also decided to do a dry sump conversion on the RB34. So while we had the motor apart I took photos that show what was needed to be done to make this Spool Imports RB34 stroker kit happen in an R32 GTR.

Dry Sump pump
Custom Pully
New sandwich plate
Custom oil pan
This photo is how we built up the welds and redrilled for the awd adapter plate

I made 865 whp on pump 94 octane !!
This is nothing impressive for that setup
On race gaz should make way more then wat u guyz are making
Take off that 3 inch exaust , make a real 4 inch str8 pipe exaust
This is killing all your power plus uour boost aint stable
Oh ya and i made 625 torque wit my 3.2 while u guyz made 596 wit the 3.4
I know its 2 psi less but still im on pump gaz wit less timing then u guyz on race gaz
Neways im going to get dyno on c16 this next season we will have a real match up even tho im already ahead wit pump gaz vs your race gaz
And y dry sump ? This car is a street car
My wet sump setup does the job way ennuf
Overkill were u dont need , ImO

While I am unsure of the intent of this message is, but I will do my best to answer and/or address any of the questions or concerns you may have.
First I do believe I should answer your only question within your message:
And y dry sump ? This car is a street car
My wet sump setup does the job way ennuf
Overkill were u dont need , ImO
1) There have been any increasing number of customer inquiries on converting their RB26 to dry sump. Although there is much literature available to increase knowledge and familiarity, the best form of knowledge is actual experience coupled with research.
This knowledge and experience will prove invaluable to our customers
2) There is absolutely nothing wrong with being overbuilt.
Now that the only question has been addressed, now we can move onto your statements:
Take off that 3 inch exaust , make a real 4 inch str8 pipe exaust
This is killing all your power plus uour boost aint stable
Once the issue was repaired we hit boost cut which is set @ 28psi without any changes. Now that the boost issue is resolved, we will be re-tuning the car for progressively higher boost levels.
As far as the exhaust goes, we have an exhaust cutout when the car is at the track. The exhaust will remain as long as the car is street driven.
u guyz made 596 wit the 3.4
I know its 2 psi less but still im on pump gaz wit less timing then u guyz on race gaz
And finally:
I made 865 whp on pump 94 octane !!
This is nothing impressive for that setup
On race gaz should make way more then wat u guyz are making
If you'd like me as a representative of Autodream to formally state that 865whp on 94 octane is impressive, I will go on the record to say that it definitely is.
However, dynographs can be easily tampered with, and for a car that hasn't seen track use, and with a few of the parts mixed not proven at that power level, I must exercise at least some sort of skepticism.
If you have any further questions or concerns, we do have many forms of communication which are: faster, more reliable, and more direct such as:
-Email: info@autodream.ca
-PM's via GTRCanada
I do know that you have contacted one of our representatives in the past, and he had chosen to stop communication.
Although he was more than happy to answer any questions that you had regarding the car, setup, stroker kit, etc. he was not hired on to pat you on the back and to congratulate you on what you've stated you've done.
I hope that you are able to respect that if you do decide to communicate with us.
