Had to switch out a the 15amp fan relay fuse for a 25amp today, since 15amp must not have been enough lol. Fan are LOUD! sounds like a jet engine, but otherwise car is working good now!! much better than before!

In the middle of refinishing my wheels, and I now have an appointment for the dyno again.... Sept 10. With boost leaks fixed, meth and yellow jackets, I should have some issues fixed and be able to push a bit further. Im thinking the haltech should help too

So my dyno day has changed to the 12th because if a schedule confliction. On a side note, I decided to change my tranny and transfer case fluids today before going next week, just because of the fact that I'm still cruising at 0psi most times on the highway, and to maintain 120kmph I'm almost into boost. I'm glad I did because the previous owner had filled the transfer case with gear oil instead of ATF. Anyways it's all fresh now. Gotta get the haltech cold start a bit better, otherwise ready for the dyno again

So I went to the dyno again Friday... Took my last day off work this year, and drove 5 hours to and 5 hours back, after blowing that asshold rear coolant line the minute I got on the dyno. Spent all day getting to it to bandaide it back together and drive home

On an upside, I may have located another serious power robbing issue. The cat thats still on this car is clogged badly, likely causing some of my issues. So thats also being deleted while i replace all my coolant lines.

Question.... What coolant lines (if any) inder the IM can be deleted? Does the oil cooler (for example) work okay without coolant?

Stock oil to coolant oil cooler transfers the heat from oil to coolant, which gets cooled by the radiator. Also it's there for cold climates where oil needs to be brought up to operating temp (similar to oil cooler in bottom of radiator for auto trans). On some engines they have more than one.

Most GTR racecars have the stock oil to coolant oil cooler removed, as can cause high oil temps, coolant temps and run a bigger oil cooler core, sandwich plate on the block, etc (usually with N1 oil pump + upgraded gears to suit or Tomei oil pump, upgraded sump capacity, restrictors, etc). Other option is a oil filter stand from a RB20DET if want something stock, then the sandwich plate, oilcooler core, etc.

Thanks, I think im gonna delete the metal coolant line under the IM an run my own rubber lines so i can adjust the location of the coolant lines so they are not in the way so much, problem im having is the coolant line returning from the oil cooler gets pinched and th feed line pops. Happended twice on me now, so thing need to change, cuz that kine is an asshole.

So I got my cat deleted, and extended my cat back to the down pipe, so now its straight 3" with muffler lol. Plus it brings my exhaust up higher which is awesome!!

So question, I wanna delete as much as possibl eon this car without loosing basic drivability, such as idle and start up and cruising and stuff. So this being said, am I able to delete the AAC valve under the intake manifold now that I have no A/C? Does it actually do anything now and if so, can the haltech compensate?

This is the idle air control valve right? If the AAC can be deleted where does everything get plumed

Top photo looks like the IACV. Bottom photo looks like the AACV.

AACV is used by ECU when turn steering wheel (bumps rpm up). Without AACV the engine would stall when butterflies in the throttlebodies are closed. The IACV (automatic choke which is activated by heat from engine, voltage and earth) could be swapped for manual choke from early 80's Nissan (Nissan Sunny or similar) if want something different. IACV is only used when engine is warming up (adds extra air on top of what AACV provides to intake plenum to match the engine running rich when cold and slowly closes as the engine warms up / engine runs leaner).

                              AACV (Auxiliary Air Control Valve)

                              IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)

So can the AAC be deleted? From what I read its for rpm drop from power steering and A/C, if I just up the idle some, would it not stay running when turning at idle and I dont have A/C anyways...

I plan on keeping the IACV, thats no issue, its the great big AAC chamber and valve from under the IM i want gone.
