Houston, we have compression. - Cheesy saying, I know, but damn am I happy. Epic 30-minute early birthday gift!
Future looks bright for this little RB20 of mine, she's putting out around 180PSi +/- per cylinder after putting a teaspoon of oil in each cylinder and cranking with the starter (as recommended) with my brand new comp. tester. Party anyone? LOL

And indeed, compression should be low for a brand new engine, if the break-in goes as planned, it should be absolutely fine!
Oh, edit for pics, put the test valvecovers on, look pretty nice I think. Cant wait to put the green ones back on. Gotta finish cleaning them up. Anywho, here's the engine in it's timed glory (yes, crank was rotated before i took these pics so don't look at timing marks
), put the HKS gears and Nismo timing belt that were used on my engine last year and torqued everything to exact spec.

. And my RB20 on a dry test is 170psi thru all six... never been rebuilt... bought it like that, so as with you I'm having a party in my pants as well
. All jokes aside, I just like to do things once and make sure they've been done properly, which I stress on any project, be it an engine build or a tiny modification, do things properly. Thanks again for the praise, let me know when your build is on it's way so I can see how it comes along and don't hesitate to PM if you have any questions!
