Zacho- this is an xs power turbo not sure if it is an ebay one but i did get a resonably good deal for this. And besides if i blow the thing apart i will just upgrade then.

Anyone know a good painter? I want my rb26 covers to go r34 red.... please let me know i will ship the covers out to you and pay for everything.

And ya the shop that we got is a very nice shop. We have our own hoist and air compressor so the engine drop was alot easier than the one we did in my buddies driveway!

        Anyways keep the feedback coming,

        Thanks,
        Chris
Yeah its an ebay turbo. It may pay to take it to a turbo rebuild shop and have them look it over before you start. I have a friend that imports them, and even he says some are great, some are not. Even one thats not so great should be able to be rebuilt to work well... No point blowing a new turbo.

Thats going to be a pretty laggy turbo though, i would guess?

          and pointless.

It's an older technology for compensating for underfueling at higher boost.

Also not all fuel would end up in each cylinder equally.

            Jeremy @ LGM Graphix.. Langley.

He did all my paint.. Engine, dash, shell, amp racks. And he did them freehand on the cheap.

chas duran me likey! Would you be willing to send my stuff to this guy? Please do let me know, I would love if you could.

And i dont think i would run 7 injectors although it would be a thought. I think it would be pointless personally but thats just me. I will run like 740cc or bigger just to be safe like you said. Now i have to change my order from feast, hope adam isn't mad.

And a turbo that big i wonder how long it will take to spool. I'm gonna call it the neck snappa because by the time it kicks in it will kick in hard. : )

If you have to ask you shouldn't be doing it yourself.

No offense or anything but it's a pretty in depth procedure.

Heres something to let you know. If you dont do it once on your own you will never learn. I have general automtive knowledge and will get this finished and it will work well. I had an idea what needed to be there to make it work but didnt know for sure. Falcon did you know everything when you first started? didnt think so!

You're going to need some 5/8 (IIRC) hose to a fitting before the throttle body on the IC piping. I just used 5/8 heater hose, welded a -10 an fitting to my IC piping, and had a 10AN fitting fitting that goes to a 5/8 hose barb to attach the hose to the AAC valve.

I had to use an S14 throttle cable. Could make the RB20 one work, just at a steep angle. I didn't like it, so an S14 worked well.

You need a throttle body adapter (greddy), or use a Q45 which is larger diameter.

New plenum to head gasket without a doubt as well.

No, I didn't but I also didn't ask questions like this. I researched a lot on here and other forums. Then I underwent the procedure. There is tons of information here, as well as on SAU.

Once you take the stock manifold off, and see how it works if you are mechanically inclined you will figure it out.

I have already taken it off, and now realised more of what I needed! If I am asking to much from you when asking what you used then bug off. I am trying to see what is best for my build and go with it!

Zacho thanks man. I will go with the q45 throttle body and have evrything else to make it work now. Thanks for the help buddy.
