I dont know about you ontario guys, but I have about 5 sections of the highway traffic act printed out and kept in my car. Thats also cause I have a few things that are in a very very grey area of law on my car, but I would suggest keeping the RHD thing with you.

                blow off valve

makes a pshhh sound and sometimes they can be very loud, cops often think you have spun your tires because of it

                  • If you're in Ontario, get your insurance needs sorted out BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK about buying one of these....

As for cops, like I've said prevoiusly in this thread, I've never been bothered but I don't live anywhere near Communist Peel Region.

                    • alright story time

So i am driving in surrey comin up to a green light.....well obviously turns yellow....so i was goin about 60 ish....well i punch, boost kicks in i hit 120 goin through this light....

Then something i have never seen before happens...a cop in a person's driveway pulls out, sirens all goin WOOT WOOT....i am sketchin out....

Now i have my N but i never put it on and i have damn near having a heart attack here since i am 17....(i know what i did was stupid but anyways)

So cop comes up to wrong side of the car, wonders WTF is goin on i roll down the window and he is like QUOTE "Wow never seen one of these before what the hell is this?"

Well i am laughing and trying to apologize at the same time...

I am grabbin my papers, he asks for my liscense so i hand him my wallet his response "Your liscense buddy, i dont take credit cards"

Well i kinda giggle and he gives me the low down on a $350 dollar ticket for goin 70kms over the speed limit and such....asks me about the car how i got it into canada and then ends with this

"Well i would normally give you a ticket but since u have such a nice car, ill let u go this time!!"

Well i am 3 sheets to the wind.....no N on my back 70kms over, no VI.....haha i had horseshoes in my ass in every direction.....

Anyways i thought it was kinda funny and well....thats why ICBC gives us our Ns hahaha

                        • Going over the speed limit...
3 sheets to the wind while driving (AKA, drinking)
Avoiding a ticket for two obvious offenses...

Well, while I agree you did get off lucky, I have very little respect for those who do things that will put the rest of us in danger. What makes it worse is that you break the laws in a vehicle in which we're fighting to allow importation to continue like it is.

You should take one of those horseshoes you mentioned and crack yourself in the back of the head with it.

                          • How about we wait till he explains his use of the term before lynch mobbing the guy?

                            • "Three Sheets To The Wind" is a sailing term guys... All it means is he was going all out for speed. In this case, to make a yellow light.

I think the loaf in his pants when the officer pulled him over will be menough to think twice next time the amber flashes in an intersection.

But yes it is a sailing term which means all the sheets are turned in the direction of the wind and therefore your haulin ass....so yah
