All I'm saying is most cops aren't mentally fit enough to be in a position of power. In fact, most of them should have a job that does not require talking or even looking at people and animals!

I wouldn't need the court date changed if those retards worked faster. I get that BS ticket in April and I have to go to court in August? WTF??
I had a pretty good reason to get it changed, I moved to Japan in July. I asked to cops if they would buy me a plane ticket to Canada so that I can attend court but of course they rudely told me off and hung up on me.

I got tickted for something that wasn't even an offence and because that ridiculous court house apparently doesn't have a phone or fax machine I couldn't make it to change the court date. Is there any good reason for them not to change the court date over the phone? I think it's because it would be too easy and convenient for victims like me to get real justice, be heard by a judge and possible get the ticket thrown out.

As for the cop just having a bad day and not deserving to get sacked, Just think what would happen if you worked in a hotel or restaurant and told your guest to go FXXX themselves? You'd be out the door faster than you can say sorry! I actually think this cop deserves a lot worst then that!

      -That's quite the generalization...

-If you don't mind, what did you get a ticket for? Please include the exact charge if possible...
-April -> August eh? Your right, that is ridiculous... The cop probably hates going for the case several months later too. Administrative problem, not the cops fault. Overloaded justice system needs more funding...
-Of course the cops aren't going to pay for your flight. It's not their fault you broke the law...

"wasn't even an offence" once again, what was the ticket for?
Refer to my previous post for why you can't change it in person. It's a legal requirment.
-"victims like me" right, your the victim of the big bad old cop giving out tickets to those who break the law...You broke the law, the system will never bend for you.:hit_head:

You may not think you deserve the ticket. But I notice you have never given the circumstances for the incident...

april to august is pretty bad, but whats worse is the speeding ticket my GF got, she got it last october and this october is the court date after it was pushed back from may... i bet they will push it back again... and we are not in a big city so there isnt any good excuse for it to take a year to dispute a speeding ticket
How many kids with A.D.D. does it take to screw in a light bulb?

He got a ticket for being illegality parked while doing a delivery. Kind of hard to beat that one IMO. Plus complaining that it would cost more to take the day off than paying the ticket.

btw wasn't an offense? Then why do you need to go court for YOUR NON-OFFENSE ticket? cry me a ******* river

Wow I didn't have nearly enough time to read all these posts, I got to page #3 then realized it went on forever?

When I was in Toronto at MIY Racing, I noticed that their Skyline had stickers on the back bumper stating they were RHD. Told me its because of the police always pulling them over.

Now my skyline is not flashy by any means, its black, with blacked out windows and black rims, the only thing that arn't black are my brake's (they are gold).

I have only been pulled over once at night and I pulled into a friends driveway real fast and when my girlfriend exited the car he asked for her lisence and papers. She replied I don't own the car and walked away. I got out and he just told me to remove my tint. No ticket

Now I am from a small area with my skyline and one other (R34 Blue stands out) and neither of use ever have problems. But I have driven my car from here to Toronto on a regular basis and never once had a problem.

Cops don't even ever really notice, maybe im just lucky, but I have driven my car for almost a year and a half.
            STOCK SUCKS!!!!!

Agreed, cops leave me alone. You obey the law and most will ignore you. They are like bears, if you play dead they are too stupid to notice you jk

I respect the police, they aren't out to get your car. They are doing their job, as long as you do yours and obey the law you won't come in contact with their bad side. I've only had one ticket in my life and it was, what a surprise, because i broke the law and was doing 40 over the limit. You can dispute the ticket on the terms to get it reduced, but don't plead not guilty. You're just pissing people off. It's a summary offense, their isn't really any way of getting out of them. As far as the law is concerned you did it, you get a ticket. They don't care if you were speeding because a bee was in your car. They care that your car was doing 40 over the limit, or your tint is on the front windows (which is also illegal in most provinces/states), or your fart can is much too loud..etc. These are all things that are in traffic law. Read up on it, you might feel just a bit guilty.

I'm not saying my car is 100% legit, it's not. I'm working to make it that way but it's hard. Granted, by looking at my car, and knowing nothing about skylines, you wouldn't know. Anyways this is my $.02

I got a $220 ticket for not completely stopping while making a right turn on a red light. The cop was a complete douche to me even though I was polite the whole time- to avoid more tickets and trouble in the future.

He had also said "If you want to drive a car like this it should be legal." So I told him about how I got it safetied and he returned to me with "I would be happy to give you a ticket for your exhaust."

I did break the law, though it is a pretty ridiculous reason to ticket me. I could have been speeding, drifting, or racing, and I'd have felt better. When a cop gives me a ticket like that though I can't help but hate them.

                Kyle.

Acutally I didn't get ticketed for being "illegality" parked as you wrote so well!
I got a ticket for having my P.O Box address on my drivers license. And every attempt to explain that it is my permanent address and there is no other place I could ever receive my license renewal notices resulted in threats of getting more tickets!
That Psycho, loonatic cop wanted to confiscate my license and get my delivery truck towed for that!

And if it was so illegal, why does the registration office would even let me put a P.O Box address on my license? And after close obsevation of the license itself, no where is it written that it isn't allowed!

And I really wanted to go to court to confront him about his behavior on that day! How can someone tolerates a cop who swears, insult, intimidate and play games with you?

I hope you get the same guy, you'll see what I'm talking about!

When I was using my friends when he went to japan on a buisness trip I got cut off in a rear end attempt (get me to rear end him insurance fraud) so I slammed on the breaks shifted down shot to the left lane cut out in front too fast and slid into the next intersection came to a stop cop was behind me and came up and asked if I was ok ( he knew what was going on) I said yeah and he said and I quote " Thats some mighty fine driving there tex" Watch out for these guys and left. Nice cop. But I agree. No matter what you drive you do 60 in a 60 or keep up with traffic youl be good. You do 120KMH on a loan road there waiting for you. I learned my lesson from my last ticket doing a hudini off the system and never being heard of again ? but I admit I was the ass hole in the middle of winter with the RWD 86' cutlass supreme reving high slipping around turns. It was fun but bald tires arent cool. So I stopped my advice. Dont speed. Dont rev high. Dont drive like an idiot and youl be fine. drive like an idiot and the po po will be on your ass like white on rice literraly :P

when you drive a skyline cops are complete douches
he gave me a tiket for my exhaust and my b.o.v. was "distracting other drivers" so i got a tiket for that too
he asked me to pop my hood and i didint let him look but im not too sure wether or not the law states that you have to
he didint seem to do anything about it but he threatened to impound my car until it got inspected
does anybody know the regulation for this kind of thing?

                            its true
                            i have a loud bov,
but trucks air brakes and jake brakes are louder
like you said, just another case of b.s.

yeah my car has passed inspection
and has actually been inspected twice for insurance purposes

he gave me a ticket for my 3 inch exhaust too.
this exhaust was approved during inspection as well.
