Not long ago, I was asked to come down to the shop to do the finition on this uber-cool project. The car has been in the shop for the past 9 months. Anyways, the painter rather let me finish his job. I appreciate that kind of trust. However, times was a factor and I couldn’t finish the job down to 100% but it’s damn close and the wet-look and reflection is up to 110% !Enough talking:

I did a 3-step on this car.

What did you use to condition the dash material on the Camry? And where can I get that nifty paint gauge haha!

cobraa....Me and a friend removed a paint run on his supra. We used an 800 grit to get most of the paint off and then finished it with a 2000 grit to the same level as the other paint is at. Now there is an area about the size of a hockey puck that looks cloudy. The paint color is red. Any tips on how to get this looking like the rest of the paint?

Well you need a compound, then a polish to remove the haze from the compound.

Umm take Meguiars compound.. best would be to go to napa and order meguiar m105 and m205 polish.

Here’s the only pictures I have before.. there’s a good chunk of salt. And see how the water turned. I have 2 bucket full of it althought the seat ‘’looked’’ clean hahaha!
