correct me if im wrong but it will have 2BOV's i believe behind the driver side of the front bumper. Im a GTS guy, but from pics ive seen thats where they always are.

ya i was gunna say something there... cause if he didn't have blow off valves, the turbos would be spooling after you let of the accelerator. Which would mean that you would get horrible compressor surge, which would be alot more noticable then quiet bov's.

You would still have the two stock recirculating valves. They dont make any distant loud sound when letting go the throttle like a bov, just that sneezing sound you hear with a aftermarket intake installed.

oh, ok so that would make sense then, the part about not having bov's, cuz they are the stock rerecirculatory valves.

hey melissa did you check the car over before you bought it off him? Should have gotten the guy to show you where and what he said was replaced.

Yeah we checked it out, but, I never had him point everything out... haha he was very trusting... but I've learned my lesson.

OH well though, it was still a good deal and I'm totally fine with most of it being stock because I like to do it all myself anyways... I dont like buying cars with all the work done to it already anyways....

Yah that guy really had no idea what was done to his car.. Plus it had a boost leak, he must have been driving it around for quite some time with the leak because the hose clamp was rusting to the engine bay (it had slid off and was at the bottom of the pipe against the bottom of the engine bay) ... haha he probably sold it thinking there was major stuff wrong to it, but this morning I just took the two air filters out and saw it laying there (searching for the leak, since we figured out that was the problem) ... took that off and replaced it with a newer one and yep, problem solved!

Where is your shop? ...private shop or are you talking about like Zensport or something? ... Did you say you pm'd me? Because I never got anything..

Hahah... I dont know... Ugh I just hate it when you see people buying all of these highly modified cars and trying to take credit for all the work put into it... I sold my car and bought this one with intentions to do all the work on it myself and make my own decisions on it... my last car was my starter/learner car, had a lot of help and learned a lot... now I'm ready to venture off on my own!! So far I've pretty much done most of it other then having my boyfriend weld a part of my exhaust on (took the cat off my exhaust to increase power, of course! haha) .... so yep... hopefully more and more girls will get into working on cars, etc in the future... :-P
