You know it Tokes silver GTR's kick ass
Hopefully a bunch of the GTRC Edmonton members will get together this summer for some regular meets. You know your turbos will spool quicker than mine but I should have you on the top end

I would be up for that.

It sounds like your planning on a little more than 500 hp.

I can't see why someone would part out a good running car. I mean, even if I part out, I'd be stuck with SO many parts crammed in the garage, covered in dust, most likely a chassis that I'd have to tow around on a deck cause the wheels and shafts would go right away I bet. I can't see myself parting out a car and making anything close to 10g on parts... Too much work for me when I can just drive the car when I feel like it and sell it sometime over the next year.

I don't have any gtr buddies in Fort Mac that could help me dismantle it or want parts out of it. I'd say by 2010, if I can't sell it, I'll possibly part out but that's a sure loss... I could always build it into a rally car lol. Anyways Grad is coming around the corner, I'm sure some highschool punk's parents would buy it. But wait, are you in dire need of parts? lol.

I could always use some quality lightly used GTR parts, never know when you will need them, you know the old saying you don't know what you got till it's gone :-P ......

What size are your rims? Are they 18's ? What kind of clearance do you have on the front calipers?

              thanks.

They are 17's, not sure on the tire width. But thats as big as I would or will ever go for rim size. I'm running R33 Brembo brake conversion on my car, tire and rim combo fills the wheel wells very nicely no clearance issues with this setup . Car has also been lowered not sure how much.

I was thinking of buying a set of 17" x 10" +18 for the track....is this the size you are running?

                      Hey GTR--J,

Yes they are 17" x 10" tire size is 255/40/17 not sure of the offset, the rim I took off didnt have the offset on the sticker.
                      Hope that helps you.

This is what I have been up to the past few weeks, just doing some cosmetic upgrade to the front bumper N1 Style 8). Overall for a DIY job I think it turned out pretty good :-D.

Pre bumper bracket measurments & cuts:

Pic as requested, you won't see one like this, similar maybe. This is not as deep as the wide mouth grill, it's duplicated off the R34 grill. Perfect fit an finish, Overseas dude tried to sell them in the classified section here a few years back an got flamed hard by some of the members. So he left, I guess I was luck enough to catch him before he bailed.
