Yea sorry my bad, those are not installed. Its mostly stock unitl its running right, then Im gonna mod. When u say check MAF and O2, u mean clean or is their a way to test? Is this a common occurance?

So I bought a new one of these http://www.wiringspecialties.com/wisprbcohabr1.html RB26DETT coil pack harness since mine is destroyed from heat and age. Also new plugs should be here tomorrow. I just ordered all my single turbo stuff, and still need a FC Datalogit. Unfortunately my buddies FD RX-7 popped on the way home yesterday and that's in my garage now for a few weeks, so this might now get many updates for a bit haha.

Good call by the way on the WS RB harness. The high temp loom cover will keep the new one from frying.

Yea the harness is awesome. unfortunately it didnt fix my issue. its "bucking" or cutting out multiple times in boost. feels like once ur in boost, you just keep taking your foot in and out of the gas pedal. i dunno if its fuel pump related or a boost leak? im just gonna replace everything with the stuff i have on order, starting with fuel pump, then move to the intake stuff.... unless anyone else has any ideas.

so far i have:
replaced coil pack harness
tested and replaced any bad coils
new plugs
cleaned maf
visually checked all intake joints for leaks

im wondering if maybe i have a vacuum line mixed up causing this. not sure. anyone have a walk through or can post up where each vac line should be coming from and going to?

Have you verified the ignitor is good? Mine did the same once the car got warmed up. As soon as it came on boost I'd get a misfire.

Solid thread! Keep it up. I had a similar issue. When I replaced my fuel pump with a nismo pump and new fuel filter it solved my issue of sputtering.

hey come take me for a spin, my r32 gtr started doing something similar, replaced cas and a ton of other chit before i found a broken injector clip. the injector when at high rpm would rattle around and do the same thing.

LOL I do have a injector missing the metal clip on the electrical connector and is held on otherwise, never really thought about that at high RPM, but it doesnt seem like thats the issue, its not a quick misfire, this is a big profound bucking that makes your whole body move, more like "fuel cut" in some cars, no noises or bangs or anything, but once its in boost, especially in fourth or fifth, it does it. The car isnt really derivable on the highway because of this, it snot only WOT, its just worse then and more profound.

I am away for the weekend to Hali, but when Im home Sunday I would love to come take u for a drive, if you are familiar with this platform, because thats what I need. I feel like their is a good chance I have a vacuum line not hooked up, or mixed up with another.

Okay so I found two hose nipples that had nothing attached, so I connected them, (near the FPR) together, and it took about 1/2 the bucking issue away. Its still there tho, and now it makes a loud "pop" from the exhaust from time to time, like a backfire.
