Mon ami voulait faire faire sa nouvelle voiture qui viens de s’acheté parce que la place où il l’a acheté est un centre d’esthétique qui se dit.. très professionnel… mais le fini était plus qu’à désiré. À ce demander ce qu’ils ont fait à part foutre des hologrammes sur la peinture !!


Commence par nettoyer les roues avec le fameux sonal wheel cleaner :


Brosse très douce pour nettoyer l’intérieur des lug nut :

Cette situation est toujours très drôle, la voisine lorsqu’elle m’a vue travaillé sur la Honda accord 2001 noirs, elle est revenue me voir 2 semaines plus tard pour m’aborder à savoir si je voudrais shiner sa voiture. Souvent la personne est gêner en me le demandant sachant pas trop si je fais vouloir travailler sur la voiture ‘’des autres’’. Belle anecdote.

I’m sorry guys there’s no before pictures, you just have to trust me about the condition of the car. It wasn’t in BAD shape but sure a mother with 2 childs does make some damage on the car + the bike mounted on top of the roof!.

Wax used ( still experimenting with it but so far I like it. A solid 4 months of durability for a wax is very good)

Voici une Acura CL, elle a été repeinturé il y a 2 ans et jamais sorti l’hiver. Donc, franchement l’auto était en bonne shape il y a pas de doute.

Polissage des phares, coté gauche de poli :







Cire utilisé pour une durabilité exceptionnelle.








Le proprio a vraiment aimé avoir les phares arrières polis, ça fait une grosse différence!

ette auto m’a été référé par le propriétaire du Hot-rod j’avais faite cette hiver. J’en suis très reconnaissant qu’il m’est assez appricié pour me référer.

Le problème avec cette Shelby c’est qu’elle a été buffer ailleurs et il y avait encore pleins d’hologrammes et de swirls sur la voiture. D’ailleurs cette voiture à un clear coat extremement mou, donc il est très difficile de finir avec un fini parfait.

Finalement, il y a un grand show de mustant à napierville bientôt et le proprio l’a voulait parfaite pour le show. Merci de la confiance!

Got it? Lots of swirls and holograms where left on the car after someone tried to attempd to detail the car.






Taping the whole car, the ownwer wanted me to tape the decal too but I told him they were lots of swirls on them and they could be buffed out. He said ; perfect but I don’t want to say white residu along the lines.. Took me a good hour to clean it up if not more but at the end, he really got a nicely detailed job with the decal buffed.

Here’s how the car came in :



Missing a good load of reflection for a car that has been detailed like 2 months ago








Those deep scratches were on every single panel of the car!! It was a nightmare, I won’t lie, I’m not a magician, I couldn’t correct every single one of these but I made them a lot least obvious than they were before.









Foaming the car to reduce chance of scratching the paint:

Taking reading of the paint. As usual, bmw comes with a good load of depth:

I wanted the flake to pop out of the paint so I went with something more metallic:

Inspecting the paint with different lighting, tried to show the deeper scratch. Obviously, under a super bright light with my camera at 3 inch from the paint is more visible but in real life, it’s a lot better.

So here’s another Impreza under my belt. Some parts has been repainted and I was asking to make it blend with the new paint and correct over-spray issues or usual stuff that bodyshop don’t do but actually should do when you pay 3000$ for a job.. *cought* That’s the reality,most bodyshop don’t like to do detailing, all they care is painting and must of them can’t even do it right, oh well, I’m not having the pretention to be able to paint, I can’t. However, I can tell you if a paint job is nicely done or not. The owner will be going back a third time to have the roof redone.

Interior: needed a good extractor wash and extra care is needed for those recaro seat.
